Where is the Precept?Posted : 4 Jun, 2012 03:07 AMSound doctrine . The King James Bible . Otherwise every man and his uncle who thinks he knows a little Greek or Hebrew become the final authority. I know several teachers who will tell you several different things one particular passage might be saying and differing greatly in those renderings . The preachers and teachers who hold to the KJB , not as much. There is a common and unchanging rock that supports those who believe The KJB is God's word without errors. That Holy Bible correct us not us it. Much of your present day apostate teaching and heresies advocating the devilish teaching that God programmed who would be saved and who would not before they were even born , partly comes from the twisting of "scriptures" through various correcting of the KJB text. Though Dr. Peter S. Ruckman may be a little rough for most american "men" , I would easily recommend his material though I don't agree with a few of his teachings. His stand for and explanation of why the KJB is The Word of God and because of that his sound teaching on most subject, is a wonder and a blessing. He is about 91 years old and still preaches every Sunday and has seen hundreds of grown men in prisons across the country and around the world come to faith in Christ. While many argue and write books and live easy lives, he and those like him are serving , working and winning souls to Christ. It is so so sad that many are trusting that they are some chosen special ones RATHER than having repented toward God and trusted The LORD Jesus Christ. ( Acts 20:21 )KJB. Are you trusting (hope) that your chosen or are you trusting in THE BLOOD. |

How much closer can one get if not in Greek and Hebrew bc it was taken from their and translated to English. |

Where is the Precept?Posted : 24 Feb, 2014 08:55 PMwhich Greek or Hebrew ? There are several different ones and these are only copies of copies or copies . There are no "originals' or what are called autographs . I trust the King James Bible for many reasons . It is important to look to the LORD Jesus Who has promised to be in our midst when two or more are gathered together in and unto His Name. ( Matthew 18:19,20,21,22)KJB. "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in ALL THINGS He might have the preeminence." ( Colossians 1:18)KJB. The reason is because He , The LORD Jesus Christ is The Bishop of our souls . |
