Why do people think for something to be true it has to be logical? I think the 5 point Calvinist is the worst offender and a good example of what I'm speaking of.

We are all individuals and God treats us accordingly. We are creations of God who can do what he pleases with what he created; answering to no one and judged by no one.

The Gospel is not about logic it is about relationship and relationships vary from person to person; God is unchanging however we are not, nor are we all the same.

It's a shame that when questioned on why you would be searching for this, you resort to this tactic. It's all nice and cliche to call it a closed loop, but you have failed after repeated attempts to show how it is a closed system. I have succeeded in showing how your system uses the same logic that you condemn. Thanks for ignoring the question though. It's very telling.

Nicodemus wasn't saved....Using John 3 as your example is not sufficient. He was inquiring of Jesus. There is zero mention of Him coming to saving faith. However it's quite clear that when Jesus answered him, we are told the Spirit goes where IT WILLS. It's so ironic that you are using John 3 which teaches the opposite of what you believe.

Dljrn04, are you saying in John chapter 3, Nicodemas was born again before he came to Jesus that night?

Scripture seems to say otherwise.

I said what i said. You can stop twisting what i said at any time now. I know that is impossible since you twist God's word for your purpose. Why not twist mine.

Twisting Scripture???

I am not the one practicing and preaching "Systematic" Re-Formed theology.

Let's face the facts shall we?

Your religion is a thought out 'system' where theology must be 're-formed' to agree with the 'system'

Well you've a poor job of this then. You ignore the fact that you cannot defend us with scripture so you just make arguments like saying that we use "thought". Well if that's true then your religion is the absence of thought.

You are correct, you are not my judge. If you were a good Berean, you would have scripture to back up your opinions.

"......If you were a good Berean, you would have scripture to back up your opinions."

__________

So let me get this straight:

You want me to take Scripture, apply logic, interpolation and create a systematic theology of my own to prove the error of systematic theology.

You're just plain missing the point.

Like I said, a closed loop without a window.

________

Donna, using interpolated Scripture to create a system to interpret Scripture is a closed loop. That you should know!

Well then I guess I will keep my loop, and you can have your vain imagination. I will keep my God and his holy infallible word.
