Posted : 27 Jun, 2012 10:43 PM It's one thing to notice how your pool of potential mates is limited to Christians. Then it's chopped off by a third when you become a cessationist. It's another thing when you become Reformed because it shrinks dramatically. It's even more drastically reduced when you become a Preterist. So are there any Reformed folk here? Cessationists? Looks as though u have difficulty in understanding the plain meaning of the bible-each reply I gave if u read carefully, refutes yr position. But u cant see it because u view everything through the preconceived lens of Calvinism. Until you abandon that we cannot debate constructively. If u and bob want to believe in a god who creates robots who are forced to believe in him, therefore forced to love him, then be my guest. But please dont claim thats the God of the bible-no early NT christian believed in what is now defined as Calvinism for 1600 years and all I can say is I find it unfortunate that anyone has for the last 400. He still insists on the god of his own making. That's what I said from the very beginning and I will say it again now. Yeshuareigns, "When you find the answer.. you will reject it anyway because it doesn't suit you. Yours is an impotent god and a worthless gospel... a god with no power to save. Rather than wasting "the whole world's" time why don't you go work out your own salvation with fear and trembling? Post Reply

It is u and Holding who believe in automatons, it is u and Holding who believes in a god who controls those automatons. If you cant see the problem with that, nothing I show u will change yr mind. The humanist sees things the way he wants - he chooses God in his own freedom and wisdom, he makes the choice not God. He can even reject him if he wants. It's all up to him.
