What is all this LOVE being thrown around on the board?
What is its meaning, how does love look, and what are the charateristics of this LOVE I see being posted.
I hear this often on here when a person gets backed up into a corner and can't come forth with Biblical answers when confronted, the person starts talking about, how as Christians we are suppose to lOVE. So what is this LOVE all about?
Does this LOVE void out scriptures where in we are taught to rebuke (sometime harshly), correct, instruct, reproof?... according to scripture? Is not rebuke whether harshly or not, reporoof, correction, and instuction done out of love, to help a person? Otherwise, if you didn't care enough in love to rebuke, reproof or whatever is needed, why worrying about helping a person get on the right path...
I'm just asking and wondering if this usage of the word LOVE is being a cop-out as a way to redirect attention off the topic or the person being rebuke or corrected or reproof or challenged with the truth, or whatever...
Did Paul show love when he harshly rebuked Peter? or when he had it out with Barnabas? or Jesus rebuked Peter, etc?... just asking.

The Apostle Paul prayed this prayer for the Ephesians saints and for all believers, for inner spiritual growth as Christians in Christ Jesus. But what does it all mean?

Jesus commanded his disciples many times to obey the OT command �To **LOVE** your neighbor as yourself� and on the day before his atonement Jesus added a NEW command �To **LOVE** one another as I have **LOVED** you� and this was just one day before he laid down His life for His friends.
John 13:34: Jesus says, �A **NEW** command I give you: **LOVE** one another as I have **LOVED** you so you:rolleyes: MUST **LOVE** one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples!!�:angel:
John 15:9-14: �As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you. Now remain in My **LOVE**. **IF** you obey My commands, you:rolleyes: will remain in My **LOVE**,,, My command is this:**LOVE** each other **AS I HAVE LOVED YOU**!!. John 14:23: Jesus says, �If anyone **LOVES** Me, he:rolleyes: will obey My teaching, My Father will **LOVE** him, and We will make Our home with him.� He who does not **LOVE** Me will not obey My teaching.�
I John 2:3-5: �We know that we:rolleyes: have come to know Him {Jesus} **IF** we obey His commands. The man who says, �I know Him,� but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. rICHARD, CAN YOU OR CAN YOU NOT EFFECTIVELY ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS? Or explain any of the sciptrues you continue to post? You says you are called to TEACH God's word, surely, you should be able to spiritual EXPLAIN what it is that you have been called to TEACH and keep posting otherwise, what is it profiting you to keep posting scripture passages but when asked to explain what you have posted, you can't explain their meanings.
Do the first things first, and explain what it is you're posting, and prove that GOD HIMSELF has indeed called you to TEACH His Word, as you say you have been so called! God forbid that He should call you to TEACH Hs Word, and doesn't explain to you what He is saying in His Word!... doesn't sound like God properly equipped you for the works of the ministry.OR, Maybe its becasue you don't atten church to LEARN what He is saying...

I see you trying to be a teacher in God's word which you have no spirutal knowledge, understanding, or wisdom into, and you have proven it over and over, you try to escape by redirecting and projecting, because you CANNOT ANSWER NOT ONE QUESTION THAT HAS BEEN ASKED OF YOU.
And the reason you cannot answer the questions is, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT A TEACHER OF GOD'S WORD! and YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWERS TO NOTHING YOU POST! That's why you can only post scriptures, even Jesus and Paul and the other apostles were able to explain the meaning of the sciptures they quoted to others... so what is it you're teaching. God never send or calls anyone for the work of His ministry without the person knowing how to answer and explain God's holy word. Paul teaches us to always be ready to give an answer and know what oyu're speaking about when it comes to the Lord...
Everybody on this forum see that you are unable to answer not one question others have put before you.
God warns: Do not affect or desire the teacher's office, for many wish to be teachers who have more need to learn, you will have to give in account to God. Posting scritures is not giving answers to questions... if you can't explain what it is you're posting....shamming ain't cutting it...
Thanks Jude, but it is a known that Richard is a person who judges and condemns what he can't control or understands, so he will have to give in account to God, that's why God says what he says about those who desire or try to be teachers, they themslevs have need to learners...
This is a dead end topic... everyone knows not to ask Richard any questions, because he cannot answer them, yet he calls himself a TEACHER OF GOD'S WORD, and has no idea what it is he is teaching, as Paul says, he can't even affirm what he posts/speaks:ROFL:
