EVE?



How Important was Eve to Mankind?



The reason I ask this Question is to bring to Light the Absurdity that some Propose that



"Women should not Teach in Church!"



There would be No Life on EARTH without Women...yet they are supposedly Incapable of Teaching to a Man!

i Timothy 2:11,12: "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man, she must be silent!"



I Corinthians 14:33,34: "As in ***ALL*** the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission!"



However, women are allowed to teach men in their houses as per Acts 18:26: "He {Apollos} began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately."



Their are other passages to show that women may teach other women in the church and since boys are not men until age 12 it is probably OK for women to teach God's Word in Sunday School to boys 11 years old and younger.



2 Timothy 3:16: **ALL SCRIPTURE** is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man {Or woman} of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work!!"



2 Timothy 4:2 "*PREACH THE WORD*, correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine!"

The Apostle Paul placed some restrictions on Women teaching MEN in church.



There is a chain of command, and man is to be head of the household.





Your comments show you either don't know what the Bible says about this, or you are disagreeing with Paul.



I am a member of a Non-denominational Reformed church, and women teach Sunday school to children. They are just not allowed to teach the MEN.



Men and women were created for different roles, and we should allow women all the freedom they can have INSIDE OF the guidelines the apostle Paul gave.

Christianity is a mysogynistic religion. Main figure, Jesus was a man, all his disciples were men, and supposedly they were all celibates. Who needs women once born?

If we look at Christianity as a splinter denomination from Judaism it makes more sense since Judaism actually says women are more spiritual than men, recognizes female prophets, includes female-authored books in their holy text (Tanakh,) and that men and women are equal to one another in marriage, but have different responsibilities.
