OR do you just know ABOUT Jesus Chirst on a religious level from reading about Him and His salvation works in the Bible? What is the difference in KNOWING Jesus intimately, and knowing ABOUT Jesus religiously KNOWING Jesus Christ Intimately vs Knowing ABOUT Jesus Christ Religously... And this love which the world speaks of; "I love my job.", " Love that car!", " Just love that program on tv"; is not a TRUE love. "Beloved, let us love one another: for LOVE is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is LOVE." 1stJohn 4:7&8. That intimate relationship is "swimming within His pool of Love", and the deeper that you dive, the more you are surrounded in it!! "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." 1st John 3:18. Knowing Jesus intimately is knowing His love; knowing about Jesus religously....your swimming on the surface man!!!!! Post Reply

Posted : 4 Sep, 2011 01:22 PM hey Bahira...:waving: You know there are Christians who say they are born again believers, but they do nt have a personal intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. They are unable to testify about how He works in their daily lives, or testify how He ha delivered them or even testify of how they were saved and delivered from the sins in their lives... of course, some have NOT been delivered and are still doing the same things they did when they were in the world, just found another way to do them... Nevertheless, many Christian DO NOT KNOW Jesus on a personal intimate level, they only KNOW ABOUT Jesus from waht they have read and the fact that He died for their sins, and that He is the ONLY WAY into the kingdom. There is a difference in KNOWING Jesus for yourself personally and intimately, and KNOWING ABOUT Jesus religiously... most Christian only know about Jesus religiously becasue they have NOT BEEN TRULY BORN AGAIN to talk about KNOWING Him in a personal, up close intimate relationship.
