Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepherd
Posted : 18 Sep, 2011 10:38 AM

God has a shepherds heart, which continually beats with pure unconditional love for his flock.

God has a shepherds hand, which rules, guides, leads, and direct his sheep.

God has a shepherds eye which takes within his scope his entire flock.

God has a shepherds ear which hears the bleating of each of his sheep as if it was the only one.

God has a shepherds nearness who stays close by his flock night and day.

God has a shepherds knowledge how intimately our Lord knows each of his sheep.

God has a shepherds skill suitable to lead his sheep according to their individual character and needs.

God has a shepherds faithfulness he never leaves nor forsakes his flock.

God has a shepherds strength strong to take out his rod and bring back his sheep back onto the right path.

God has a shepherds pity. He pities like a father, and comforts like a mother.

The sheep are one of the most dependent of all creatures if left alone they would be destroyed.

Sheep are one of the most foolish of all creatures, they would leave a rich field for a barren one.

A sheep is always prone to wander. They are never content.

Sheep are creatures with a stubborn will.

The great shepherd will never be without a flock.

Is God my shepherd?

Did God purchase my life with the precious blood of his son?

Is God my owner?

Is God my soul keeper?

Is God everything to you?

Is God the object of your faith?

Is God the center of your love?

Is God the guarantee of your security?

Is God the pledge of your prosperity?

Examine yourself closely for goats are often found feeding with God's sheep.
