Followers of Postponement Theology As Proxies For the Chosen People

Those who claim to be the people of God because of their race have a problem in the New Testament

letters of Paul and in the Book of Hebrews, which Paul might have written, or it was written by one of

Paul's followers. If only they could take Paul's writings and Hebrews out of the New Testament, they

would have a much easier time of claiming to accept the Messiah Yeshua and in keeping Torah, or in claiming

to keep it, parts of it, or much of it, while being accepted as Christians by Christians.

"For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second." Hebrews 8: 7

"For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect." Hebrews 10: 1

"He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second." Hebrews 10: 9

The five books of the law contain moral precepts of God, along with the "shadows" of things to come, that is, teachings and rituals which point to the final sacrifice of Christ, and some that point to the righteousness and truth of Christ. But those things of the Old Covenant which pointed to Christ were fulfilled and done away with. So was entry into the New Covenant, the Kingdom of God, by race done away with.

"And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15. Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

16. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." Galatians 3: 12-16

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3: 28-29

"For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7. Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." Romans 9: 6-8

If we interpret Romans 11: 26, "And so all Israel shall be saved," by these scriptures above, then "Israel" in Romans 11: 26 is not physical Israel who rejected Christ. His saying "all Israel shall be saved" is a clue as to which Israel he is talking about. To save "all Israel" would require most of them being brought back from outer darkness. "But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 8: 12.

And even if "all Israel shall be saved" means all who are alive during the seven year tribulation of postponement theology, this would be a very unusual event in which the Lord repents of his transformation of physical Israel into Israel reborn in Christ (John 3: 1-6) and returns to the Old Covenant.

All Israel shall be saved because all who are of Israel are saved.

I Thessalonians 1: 14-15 talks about the persecution of Christians by those of

physical Israel. At that time, in the First Century, it was the Jews who troubled and

persecuted Christians, not the Roman unbelievers. The Jews as a whole rejected Christ as God, but they

were "ethical Monotheists." Those who claim to be chosen by race, with their proxies, may again contribute to the persecution of Christians in the very end time. Under the Old Covenant, violence against one's enemies was more acceptable than under the New Covenant. Look at what Christ said to the guys who wanted to call down fire on the

village that rejected Christ in Luke 9: 52-56, "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."

In making "all Israel" a foundational starting point of their theology, those in postponement theology have

become proxies or surrogates for those who claim to have sacred blood and are the chosen people, though the proxies claim to be Christians. As proxies for the chosen people because of bloodlines, it is possible that postponement theology - or dispensationmalism - will join together into one end time Israel-First movement with the Hebrew Roots Movement, and some groups within the Messianic Judaism movement. Its also possible that the Mormon Church or many of the Mormons will join this end time coalition. They also claim to have sacred blood from one of the lost tribes.
