View Profile History	The light of the Gospel: Posted : 29 Sep, 2011 03:45 PM Good question PJ... but I think many believers don't know the gospel because they fail to READ what God says about them. People don't enjoy hearing the truth themselves, and what they don't know is that the gospel tells us about who we are, and who we are not, because this is God's way of bring us into the reality of His truth and who He and Christ are to be in us. Otherwise, how will believers ever know who they ARE in Christ and who Christ is in them if they don't first know about themselves. You cannot receive who God is, until you find out who you are in God's eye sights... and make the necessary changes to receive everything and spiritual blessing He has for us.. God's ultimate goal is to transform us into the image (character ) of Jesus Christ, and many believers do not want to go through that transformation, because its painful and you cannot be set free UNTIL you receive the TRUTH about yourself... But this is also why The Holy Spriti is unable to do His work because many believers refuse and reject being circumcisied and seeing the foreskinof their hearts pulled back and their real sinful hearts exposed. Jesus says , man enjoys the darkness more than the light! This is also why many believers have no spiritual power in the word, or in the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit. Wlaking in the power of the Holy Spirit ain't no joke and untless a person is sold out and commited in obedience to Christ, their walk as a christian believer is fruitless and nonprofitable... they are an empty vessal without an achor...
