Shalll we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that to many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Romans 6:1-6 kjv :glow: Post Reply
View Profile History	Believers dead to sin Posted : 30 Sep, 2011 06:29 PM :applause: good word Angel... and we who are in Christ should be dead TO sin, never desiring to do those sinful deeds we did BEFORE we came to Christ. Only thing, many so-called born agan Christian believers never gave up the things they USE to do before salavtion, they just changed how they do them...:rolleyes::laugh: We are to do as Paul says, put away those deeds that beset us... which mean die daily to the flesh forsaking eveything that will cause us to be disqualified for the kingdom, and get serious with our eternal life... this mean being dead TO sin (no longer practicing sin) and alive IN Christ ( living the new life in Christ as His children and srervents, completely turned around and away from what God calls sins)... instead many are still dead IN their sins and dead TO Christ..
