Are you a pistol-packing woman or man of God? I am curious? How many of you on here, which profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Who told Peter to "put up the sword", are running around with a Smith & Wesson 357 magnum, or a Glock 9mm, with which to "defend yourselves"..?
I saw a woman's profile, that stated she loved to fill her days travelling to the pistol range, to get in some target practice, and I enquired as to why, if she believe what the Word of God says about "And He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in ALL your ways," would you think that you need to own a gun, and be prepared to use it?
She replied to me angrily, "You sound as if you are one of these nuts that are prowling these sites", evidently inferring, that because I wrote that I do not believe that a true believer in Jesus Christ would carry a firearm, that something is wrong with me. She evidently is extremely ignorant of the fact, that "self-preservation" is the corporatist's favorite means of generating gun sales, and through them, their corporate profits.
Tell us, and tell the world, are you an NRA Christian, who merely talks the gospel, and could care less about faith in such assurances as mentioned above, or do you truly love the Lord, and know that the ways of this age are wicked, and designed to harvest you and convert your ignorance into capital?

Hi,
I have Makarov pistol (9mm).
But thanks God I have never used that. But once it was useful just to warn a man that I have a gun.
I believe that we should not use guns. Only for protection purpose we can use them.... only in such cases when we are sure that our offender would not be killed.

Yeah, PJ, I agree with Jude, you are a hot mess... this is too funny
PJ, asked: Is this a loaded question? :ROFL:
Well, I carry MANY weapons for my protection: I carry an AX AND TWO 38'S/ Acts 2:38: Repent, and be baptized for the remissions of your sins;
I carry a sharpe TWO-EDGED SWORD, Hebrews 4:12: God's word is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit;
I carry a HAMMER Jeremiah 23:29; Is not my Word like a hammer breaking the rock into pieces;
And I carry burning FIRE Hebrews 12:29: For God is like a consuming fire..And the power of the Holy Ghost
If one don't get-'em the other one, will:yay:
Can't depend on a mm9, it might back-fire on me, but the ax and two 38's (:laugh:) , along with the sword, and the hammer, and for sure the fire will have more effect, and these are weapons I can trust to protect me...

James replies:
No, I don't think a 9mm has enough stopping power.
Although there is a submachine gun out now that shoots 9mm, but it is very expensive, like about 2 thousand dollars.
I much prefer the Taurus "Judge" or "Public Defender" pistols for home protection.
A good fighting shotgun is also a good idea for home defense.
And oh yes, when Jesus told Peter to not continue fighting, it was because it was Jesus' time to taken by the authorities and hence Peter was violating the will of God.
To say that Christians should not have any arms is wrong, because Jesus TOLD the Disciples to bring a sword with them, and if they did not have one, that they should go and sell something and BUY a sword.
When Jesus said this, one of the disciples checked and said:
"Lord we have two swords", so of course Jesus knew this, and if it was wrong for a Christian to defend themselves, then Jesus would have said so.
