Jesus said to His 11 Apostles, "If you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. For it is written: "And He was numbered with the transgressors"{Isaiah 53:12} and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in Me. Yes, what is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment." The disciples said, "See Lord, here are 2 {Not 11}swords." "That is enough." Jesus replied.
Matthew 26:30-34: They seized Jesus and arrested Him. With that, one of Jesus' companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "For *ALL* who draw the sword will die by the sword...But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
And so the only reason that Jesus allowed the disciples to have 2 swords was so that the Scripture in Isaiah 53:12 would be fulfilled: "He was numbered among the transgressors."
Jesus said to Pilate, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If it were, My servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But NOW My Kingdom is from another place!"
Luke 6:27-29: Jesus commands, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you. do not demand it back!"
2 Corinthians 10:3,4: "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are *NOT* the weapons of the world."
The only weapons that NT saints may use who follow the New Covenant commands of Jesus is the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. A NT saint would not even think of joining the army of any nation and becoming a professional killer or defending himself with a gun. Unfortunately very few Groups such as the Amish still obey these sacred commands of Jesus.
I John 2:3-5: "We know that we have come to know Him *IF* we obey His {Jesus'} commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His Word, God's love is truly made complete in him.":applause:

You are incorrect.
1. Jesus told the disciples that if they did not have a sword to go and sell something and BUY one.
He told them this because while they were with Jesus they were protected from harm, but Jesus was going away, and now they needed to protect themselves.
This is exactly what he told them, check it out for yourself.
2. When Jesus said "Turn the other cheek" he meant not to sue someone in court even though you had the right.
Look at the context and you will see that Jesus is talking about going to court, and taking someone to court.
It is a known FACT that in Jesus' day, there was a Jewish expression called "turn the other cheek" and it meant to NOT sue someone in court even though you had the right.
3. Jesus said that if you don't protect and defend your family that you were WORSE than an unbeliever.
4. HOW can you say you love your neighbor as yourself if you saw them being attacked and you did not attempt to stop it???
5. even the TITLE of this thread is misquoting Scripture!

James your exegesis is Satanic and absolutely wrong and is consistent with watered down Christianity which is very popular.
John 14:23,24: Jesus says. "If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will love him, and we will make our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey my teaching."
Deuteronomy 18:17-19:
The Lord said to Moses, "I will raise up fro them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, I will put My Words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to My Words that the Prophet speaks in My Name, I Myself will call him to account."
Revelation 22:16,18,19: "I, Jesus have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches...I warn everyone who hears the Words of the Prophecy of this: If anyone *ADDS* anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this Book {Including eternal Hell}. And if anyone *Takes Words AWAY* from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the Tree of Life and in the Holy City {The New Jerusalem} which are described in this Book."
A perfect example of taking words away would be Luther and Calvin who did not believe that Revelation is the Word of God.

The Door to the Kingdom of God
Dear brothers,
On the doorposts of some Jewish homes, you will find a small container/case. This case is commonly known as a Hebrew word mezuzah (this word means in Hebrew doorpost), because it is placed upon the doorposts of the house. You can see mezuzah on the picture above. The mezuzah is a constant reminder of Gods presence and Gods commandments. But do you remind yourself constantly of Gods presence and Gods commandments? The God of Israel commanded Israelites to do that.
The commandment to place mezuzot on the doorposts of our houses is derived from a passage commonly known as the Shema:
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:4-9
In that passage, God commands us to keep His words constantly in our minds and in our hearts, by writing them on the doorposts of our house. On the back of the scroll, a name of God is written. The scroll is then rolled up placed in the case, so that the first letter (the letter Shin) of the Name of God (Shaddai) is visible. Shaddai, one of the names of God, also serves here as an acronym for Shomer Daltot Yisrael, "Guardian of Israel's doors".
The scroll must be handwritten. The case and scroll are then nailed or affixed to the right side doorpost on an angle. Every time Jews pass through a door with a mezuzah on it, they kiss their fingers and touch them to the mezuzah, expressing love and respect for God and His commandments and reminding yourselves of the commandments contained within them.
So, every time Jews enter their homes, they see the mezuzah and are reminded of Gods commandments and Gods presence in their lives. This God told us His name: He is the God of Israel.
So, God said that His name is the Guardian of Israel's doors. His name is Shaddai. You should always remember that.
Do you remember who is the God of Israel? His nature is LOVE and justice, holiness. Have you a difficult time reconciling - God's love versus. God's righteousness? God's love requires God's justice. God would have been completely just and loving in destroying all of us for our disobedience/crimes/ to Him. He judges rapists and this is His love toward the raped children. It is only through His extraordinary love and grace that we are allowed into His presence. Because we all are criminals. God imputed us the righteousness of His divine and holy son who died on the cross and took the sin of the world. Thats why we are holy and able to approach God in our prayer and in afterlife.
The Bible says about the people who were destroyed in the Canaan/the Promised Land:
"It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you are going to possess their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD your God is driving them out before you, in order to confirm the oath which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (Deuteronomy 9:5)
How "wicked" could those people have been? How about killing their own sons and daughters by burning them in sacrifices to their gods:
"You shall not behave thus toward the LORD your God, for every abominable act which the LORD hates they have done for their gods; for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods. (Deuteronomy 12:31)
So we see that these people are not quite as innocent as you would like you to believe. For these reasons, God ordered the destruction of the peoples whom the Israelites dispossessed. For the same reasons, God is going to destroy Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Gaza and Jordan. Today you know the answer to your question. Gods judgment will judge these Muslim states. Thats why again the Promised Land/the Holy Land, given by God to Israel, will be taken from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine and given to Jews again for their possession during the millennium reign of Jesus on our planet earth.
Jesus Himself addressed the issue:
"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name,
and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you;
DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'"
(Matthew 7:22-23)
Thus if Ismail Haniya and Muslims will violate the HOLY laws of God then they will be destroyed by the God of Israel.
It is Gods LOVE and JUSTICE will judge them for their terrorist activity, rockets fired to Israel from Gaza and Palestine.
Gods mercy gives them chance to be reconciled with God and people and Gods justice will judge him for his crimes.
What about you?
Are you saved?
Were you born of God?
Believe in the Son of God, repent, abandon your sins, confess them to God in a prayer and start LOVING people. Then He will adopt you and give you a right to your FREE entrance to the Kingdom of God.

In Matthew 5:21-26 Jesus amplifies the meaning of the sixth commandment. He brings out that to commit murder means more then just killing someone, it means having an angry and unforgiving attitude towards them.
Jesus said:
"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.' But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.
"Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge,
the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny." (Matthew 5:21-26)

Hatred which is the same as murder (1 John 3:15), is unforgiving, vengeful and hostile towards one's enemies.
Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written:
"It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. Rom 12:19

Look how Israel and soldiers will fight to protect her people:
In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own placeJerusalem.
7 The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the LORD before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
