It is has been said that in this topic that The word spirit refers to the Holy Spirit, Consider this does the Holy spirit produce fruit or is he Love ,Joy peace, longsuffering, gentlenesss, goodness,
Gal 5: 22But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchardthings like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Galatians 5:22 (New King James Version)
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Amplified Bible (AMP)
Gal 5:22But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
Many take this word Spirit to be the Holy Spirit, if you will follow the context you will see that is man's spirit that is being spoken of, when man is born again all receive a measure of faith as in general faith, all receive the same measure it is man that is to grow in these attributes, man has been given these items but it is in understanding and know the topic of faith, will a believer ever under these truths.
Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
We all know fruit grow's on the branches and in this context Jesus exhorts us to produce more fruit.
In order to be a doer of the word we have to understand it and the topic matter.
The Holy Spirit is always man's helper never his doer.

Faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.
Faith is the "title deed," or, essentially, the proof of ownership for the things that you are still hoping for. The things that, with your senses, you can't even see yet. In fact, you may be seeing the opposite! But, it is your faith that is the confirmation that you already possess it in the spiritual realm. Faith is probably one of the biggest challenges, because it is believing in something that you can not see, long after you thought it would have appeared. That is why faith is not something you have to come up with on your own - It is a One of the 9 Fruits of the Spirit. I have heard a lot of Christians say that they are not sure that they have enough faith for something. Hey, I've even said it myself. But, faith is not something that you just have to scrounge up from inside of yourself. It is something that grows inside of you from spending time with God's Holy Spirit. Thats why I cannot save Walid Saifaddin Ashour, but God is able to give him faith in his heart caused by the Holy Spirit. And this faith in the Son of God will save him. So the fruit produced by the Spirit is more than being faithful, it is having faith! Being a person of faith is what makes us trustworthy.
Never think that you do not have enough faith. The Holy Spirit is your source for as much as you need! So we see that faith is a spiritual gift given to the regenerate only as it is produced in their lives as a fruit of the Spirit. How can a lost man have faith? The Spirit has to be at work in his life before anyone has any hope of believing! In the Holy bible we read that grace and faith are gifts from God and not of works. Faith is not something we can work up on our own. Our continued ability to take God at His Word, to trust Christ, is a gift from the Spirit produced as He works in our lives with the Word of God.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Faith is a gift and also a manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit. The gift of faith is imparted from God through the Word of God, but the fruit of faith is produced by the Holy Spirit. The gift of faith can move mountains, but the fruit of faith is what is required for daily living. The fruit of faith enables us to walk and live by faith. Without this kind of faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
We all are to call all men to obey the Gospel/Good News of salvation through faith in the God Jesus, repent of their sin, and trust Christ. But we must do so with this assurance: it is not up to us to persuade a man to believe and repent. It is not up to us to pick the most effective and emotion stirring words to bring him to faith. We do not bring faith out - God puts the faith in!! We preach the Gospel/the Good News of salvation for every Arab and Muslim and Jew and call all to obey it understanding all along that God gives repentance and faith. He gives the increase. All we do is sow the seed of His words!
But who are you?
What are the fruits of the Holy Spirit in your life?
Guys, all check the fruits of the Holy Spirit in your lives because God is going to look at them too and judge us accordingly!
He is the Judge!
What are the fruits of the Holy Spirit?
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Galatians 5:22)
Love
Joy
Peace
Longsuffering
Kindness
Goodness
Faith/Faithfulness
Gentleness
Self-control
Let me remind you how God is going to gather the fruits of our lives:
Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit.
Background: There are 5 main characters in this parable: 1) the landownerGod, 2) the vineyardour world, 3) the vinedressers all people, 4) the landowners servantsthe prophets who remained obedient and preached Gods word to the people of Israel, 5) the sonJesus who existed always and came to our world to dwell among us and save us. Lets read now the parable/story said by Jesus to see who can enter into the Kingdom of God.
The Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers
Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, They will respect my son.
But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves,
This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.
So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.
Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?
They said to Him, He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.
Jesus said to them, Have you never read in the Scriptures:
The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the LORDs doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes?
Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.
Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet. Matthew 21:33-46
Jesus said here that He is the Stone rejected by people. He came to them from His Father. But they killed Him. God wants to receive our fruits/holy life but if you kill and commit violence you will NEVER inherit the Kingdom of God. You, a killer, will NEVER be accepted by God to His HOLY dwelling place. God came to gather fruits of our life. If there is only violence, He will judge us for violence. The Son killed by people become the Chief Cornerstone. He is God Himself and equal to His Father. Moreover He is the Judge during the Judgment Day.
Donna again your response has nothing to do with the post.
The word you posted pneuma is the same word used for man's spirit as well as the holy spirit, so to know the object of the word you must know the context, and also understand this the word is also spirit, and in this context in Galations the word Spirit is referring to the word of God.
Definitions only tell us how words have been used in the past.
Notice the word below:
b) the soul
The bible teaches that man is a spirit and he has a soul and he lives in a body three distinct parts.
The soul of man is one of them, but it is not the spirit. and the rest of the explanations prove the point.
Well Donna that statement is in denial of the word also.
One does not receive the Holy Spirit, the gift of God, the promise of God in the new birth, he receives a measure of the holy spirit within but is a separate act of faith and you will find this to be the number one cause of some much carnality in the body of christ.
Bahira your response indicates you did not read my post for instance:
Many take this word Spirit to be the Holy Spirit, if you will follow the context you will see that is man's spirit that is being spoken of, when man is born again all receive a measure of faith as in general faith, all receive the same measure it is man that is to grow in these attributes, man has been given these items but it is in understanding and know the topic of faith, will a believer ever under these truths.
I very clearly said man has been given these attributes, in the new birth they where all deposited in man's spirit, all have received the same measure. Whether man grows fruit out of his spirit or not is his responsibility, did you not notice your own response. The former part of this paragraph is scriptural the latter totally leaves the word of God:
It is a One of the 9 Fruits of the Spirit.
There is not one statement you can find in the word of God that supports that statement for it is not God.
Just so you will know God the father and Jesus and the Holy spirit are faith and every thing they do and say is of faith.
It is something that grows inside of you from spending time with God's Holy Spirit.
No faith comes by hearing and continaully hearing by the word of God, as one hears it is planted in the heart of man as a seed and if it is continually feed by the word faith will come and then it is completed by man's action.
Heb 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Bible also has a voice for that is how faith is released.
The Bible tells us that Jerusalem is the city of the future. The final conflict of humanity will not be fought over Paris or Rome or New York City. It will be fought over Jerusalem. That is why the Bible tells us to pay attention to Jerusalem. In Zechariah 12:2, God said,
"I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink :toomuch: that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah."
The Kingdom of God belongs to the Son of God.:waving:
Enter there through FAITH in Him!
Repent of your sins, confess them to the God and live a holy life OBEYING everything what God teaches you.
This is the Way of salvation for every Muslim and Arab and Jew and American and the name of this way is the Son of God.
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.:glow:
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.
Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.
Jesus said to him, Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip?
