Posted : 1 Nov, 2011 07:49 PM Are you one of these fairweathered Christian folk who thinks that being born anew entitles you to submit a Wish List of all sorts of things to the Lord, while claiming at the same time that you walk by faith and not by sight [which means "pleasing the senses"]? Have you asked for a man or woman, not knowing whether the Lord actually intends to send one into your life or not? Would you trust Him, if He were to tell you, "No, I wish for you to be single"..? Have you listed on your profile that you want certain features in that man or woman you are "trusting" the Lord to send to you? Are you 55 years of age, and are seeking men or women who are between 35-50? Why would you do that, if you trust the Lord to send what is good for you? Are you limiting the age? What if He wants to send one who is twenty years older, would that be acceptable? Some of you have written that you are not seeking a couch potato. But what if the Lord were to send someone whom you would not normally find "appealing"..? What if the Lord were to desire to send someone who you did not think there was any CHEMISTRY with? Would you do as He pleased, and accept His will? What if God were not interested in granting your Wish List, and that is the reason you are still alone? How is it that, when it comes to lusting on another, or seeking one who is pleasing to the flesh, everyone seems to know exactly what the Lord wants for their lives; and on the other hand the Word of God seems to be of little signficance? I am wondering about these things.. awm Post Reply

Posted : 2 Nov, 2011 12:05 PM That simple in today's understanding of how things operate in the world. We live in an age, that although similar to past civilizations, is much worse, as men and women are driven by their carnal nature to do things that they might not have done otherwise. Men set up "shop", shall we say, with a woman, promising to love her til death do them part, and then his will kicks in, and he no longer "wants" that which he once wanted, and thus he "falls out of love" with her, all the while, not mentioning that he has developed that thing called "Chemistry" with another younger, gullible, foolish woman, willing to take another woman's spouse in order to get the things of substance that the other woman had worked so hard for, for so long. It is the old "the love of money is the root of all evil" game, and it has been going on since the beginning of time. But do not expect to hear this sermon preached in any of these so-called Christian churches; the pastor himself, as is the case with most of the remainder of the flock, are too busy playing the same game.. Men and women in today's Babylonia are no different than man was 6,000 years ago; they are all still trying to convert anything and everything into capital. What is this madness over this thing called "money"..? Money is anything of perceivable value that can be traded or used to barter for other things of perceivable value. That is why the scripture tells us that it involves "a love", or lust, out of control, willing to do anything to succeed or prosper. Women trade their bodies for that "interest bearing certificate, or bill" called "money", which they turn right around and use in another transaction. Men do the same.. It is madness.. This is why so many on here are so fond of this thing called "Chemistry", which is nothing but a euphemism for "using lust and sensual desire as a means of capital". This thing called "Chemistry" is the sole reason why there are so many divorces, and so many on this and other sites, searching, lusting, prowling, trying to find what they "want" in this world, while pretending that "this is the Will of God!"
