"It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?" (Heb. 12:7).Posted : 2 Nov, 2011 02:07 AMAs our chastenings are marks of our sonship, so also are our consolations. The kindly view the Spirit gives of our Father's dispensationsthe meek submission of the will, the cordial acquiescence of the heart, and the entire surrender of the soul to Godsupplies us with indisputable ground for drawing a conclusion favorable to the reality of our being the children of God. |

"It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?" (Heb. 12:7).Posted : 2 Nov, 2011 12:34 PMYou have definitely said a mouthful there. The spiritual decline in America is so heart wrenching. Churches are spiritually dead. Churches preach the devils lies and tickle the sleepers ears. I pray for revival first in families, that is where revival starts. Fathers need to be leaders in their own homes, and read the word to their wives, and children. What a change their could be. |
