They will try to make it anything but the the word of God They will mock and scorn: The word Says The gift of The Holy Spirit is subsequent to receiving Jesus, and those that received him spoke with tongues. Jesus is God's gift to the world, or those that are lost. The Holy Spirit is God's gift to the Church. The gifts of the spirit are only a part of those that have received the Holy Ghost. All need the third person of the Godhead to fulfill the call they have on their life for all are called to minister. Posted : 3 Nov, 2011 10:12 AM Here is my comment to another thread of pj where one lady mentioned healing: Lady, you didnt get what we have discussed here. You are talking about healing by the laying on of hands. I prayed about a Muslim man laying on him my hands and God healed him. There are many manifestations of the Holy Spirit who dwells in believers in the God Jesus. That's why He gives us many gifts. So many gifts that I even cannt count then here right now. The tongues is just one of the them!!!!! Re-red the Scripture to see it. We all agree that it is possible that people speak today in the tongues. But we have not met such people yet. What we see in our Churches is just crazy barking. And this barking cannt be the language of the Holy Spirit. Check thread I posted for you a link where you can see such barking. So, what I say: those who bark will be judged by God. Because they allowed themselves to be deceived by other 'christians' and they deceive other people. God does not bark because the Holy Spirit is not dog!!!! God will start the judgement from the House of God. Post Reply

You have every time, avoided the topic by trying to divert attention to the gifts of the Spirit, The gifts of the spirit are only available to those that have received The gift of the Holy Spirit. The bible states one can not understand a topic, lest he first experienced it or has taken part in it. All your justifications have nothing to do with this teaching. The sister made it very clear and said and all she said was truth. You have every time tried to label speaking in tongues as the gift of tongues and they are not the same. Isaiah revealed one of the benefits of speaking in tongues, and in the same setting spoke of prophetically what has happened here. Isa. 29:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the chest. Isa. 29:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Isa. 29:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. Isa. 29:12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. There is no debate for all this truth is available to any who will inquire of the lord. Experience does not overide the word of God. The father said if you would ask him he would give: Lu 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Posted : 3 Nov, 2011 09:45 PM Thank you PJ, I do think maybe bahira still has some things mixed up we must pray for her it is our obligation to our Master to pray for her to see truth, when someone gives a messgae from God in an unknown tounge that is an example of a gift, someone else in the church will interpret that is another example,however the prayer language in corinthians 14:2 is something else that is how we pray for things we have no knowlege of or things we dont realized we are to pray for its so many things , I tell you PJ I hink unless you experience reaching out and touching heaven in your personal prayer time then you just cant understand, Ill never forget the night that I recieved a message from God through tounges and interpertation, on the way home from church that night I couldnt stop praysing God until we got there I went into the prayer room and prayed for what seemed like hours I felt the spirit of God moving supernaturaly in my life, people resist because of doubt and unbelief they just cant believe that God could send a message and then send the interpritation, but if YOU TRULY BELIEVE HE IS WHO HE SAYS HE IS then you should have no trouble believing, I am not surprised at the attacks on us and our beliefs even on what is a Christian site, because Jesus him self said we will be reviled all that is to me is confirmation, when she or anyone else calls me crazy or demon posseesd as she did in another reply I think about the gospels and how tha pharasees said Jesus was casting out demons in the name of satan,I also think about acts chapter 2 where they asked were these men "drunk on new wine" and I thank God for his word and I thank him for giving me understanding so that I can see truth, the bible says many are called but few are chosen, and we are chosen my dear brother, I count it all as joy and I think of it as confirmation that I have found the truth Post Reply
