When you break bread with other believers, are you meeting according to the Scriptures.
Exo 23:15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:
1Co 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
1Co 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1Co 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
1Co 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

1Co 14:26 Then what is it, brothers? When you come together, each one of you has a psalm, he has a teaching, he has a language, he has a revelation, he has an interpretation. Let all things be for building up.
1Co 14:27 If one speaks in a language, let it be by two or three at the most, and in turn, also let one interpret.
1Co 14:28 And if there is no interpreter, let him be silent in the assembly, and let him speak to himself and to God.
1Co 14:29 And if there are two or three prophets, let them speak, and let the others discern.
1Co 14:30 But if a revelation is revealed to another sitting by, let the first be silent.
1Co 14:31 For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be encouraged.
1Co 14:32 And the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.
1Co 14:33 For God is not of confusion, but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.
Too often the assembled believers have 'NOTHING' to say from the Word of GOD concerning Yeshua,
And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves. For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kigdom of God shall come. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testatment in my blood, which is shed for you.

Communion Sunday!
Our Church has Lord's Supper on every first Sunday of the Month.

Too often the assembled believers have 'NOTHING' to say from the Word of GOD concerning Yeshua,
Or they are told 'WE DO NOT DO THAT HERE'.
So sad,So very, very sad..

George you keep posting these scriptures that are of course true, but the new testament was written to those that walked in the light of the Gift of The Holy Ghost, there are no such Gifts in christians that have not received the Holy Spirit.
1Pe 2:5 you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:6 Because of this, it is also contained in the Scripture: "Behold," I lay in Zion" an elect, "precious Stone," "a Corner-foundation;" "and the one believing in Him shall not be ashamed, never!" Isa. 28:16
@angel:
Act 2:46 And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart,
Act 2:47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the assembly, the ones being saved from day to day.
Breaking bread once a month can become an 'EVENT' instead of being the normal everyday time of fellowship between Yeshua and His people..
Almost everytime i have been with believers as they break bread, the meeting goes as follows.
The self-called senior pastor says;'LET US PRAY';
Yet there is no 'US' that is praying, just this one man acting as the go between man and GOD.
Is that not the position of the Old Covenant High Priest..
Then this same person reads from the Scriptures, usually 1st Corinthians 11:23-29.
People are told not to eat unworthily,so they are told to confess any sin, before they partake.
Is this not Catholicism?
Then the elements are distributed,Yet there is not any discussion on what the elements represent, people are only doing as they are being told..
The people have been deceived into believeing that they have just had 'COMMUNION',HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Yet nowhere during this meeting has there been any 'REMEMBERANCE ' OF Yeshua.
I would encourage you to use 'biblos.com',to study this out.
bibls.m is a very good site for studying.
Rememberance:
Greek:anamnesis
anamnsis: remembrance
Original Word: ἀνάμνησις, εως, ἡ
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: anamnsis
Phonetic Spelling: (an-am'-nay-sis)
Short Definition: a recalling, remembrance, memory
Definition: a recalling, remembrance, memory.
Cognate: 364 anmnēsis (from 363 /anamimnḗskō, "bring to mind") properly, deliberate recollection, done to better appreciate the effects (intended results) of what happened; active, self-prompted recollection especially as a memorial (memorial sacrifice).
The time of 'REMEMBERANCE' of Yeshua is actually a 'MEMORIAL MEETING'
At a memorial,we do what?
We openly 'TALK' about the person,we remember who they are,and speak of what that person is like, and mention some of their exploits..
Alas, the BODY OF Yeshua has been 'BAMBOOZLED,
SWNIDLED,DECIEVED,USED AND ABUSED' about this important meeting and yet the people are not even aware that they are being taken for a ride in a vehicle with flat tires and no engine.
What do i know about this or anything for that matter.
I just drive a tractor-trailer,according to the spiritual elite,i should just keep my mouth shut about such things..
Too bad that i do not listen to the spiritual elite.
