Who says Faith is a Gift: Why Some say that?Posted : 11 Nov, 2011 04:19 AM.:applause::applause: yes PJ I do understand and I have always said faith=obedience... its not something in your mind (heart) its something that is proven by your obedience to God like abraham at jehova jira so I dont think that has anything to do with it being gift, it is given to us the faith we need to be obedient thats all he gives us enough to see what the truth is and act on it if we do not rebell against it and act on it then we are saved, and after that god begins to show us we can trust him through our faith in (obedience to) him:yay::yay: |

Who says Faith is a Gift: Why Some say that?Posted : 11 Nov, 2011 08:47 AMThat if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord." and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justifiedo and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, Eveyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." |
