Do you "swear" at all? If you do, you are not a true disciple of Jesus, the Christ!
Christianity, which has the fictitious oath/contract manipulating system of ancient Mesopotamia, uder the guise of "corporation(s)", as a whole is Satanic, and Ceasar's [aka Satan or Lucifer] controls of them by the fictitious contractual oath-swearing system of Babylon, is the validation.

You are not to ever swear for anything, and this hypocritical governmental system which is worldwide in nearly every religion, is that which is known as "Antichrist, or "in the place of Christ (the Father's predetermined and concealed plan for the redemption of His creation)".
If men ceased to swear, the system would wither and die, and men would be compelled - instead - to obey the ONLY Law that will ever avail anything: "DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU'D HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU!"

Yes, he was the same that was trying to buy the gift of the Holy Spirit from the apostles. He was rebuked by Peter for thinking to control God, and to use money [Satan's financial system] to handle the things of God. This is why you see all of these hypocrites, these snakes and wolves in sheep's clothing, on television, telling everyone that if you will only give them money, or donate to them, you will be blessed.

Simon Magus believed and was baptized. Outwardly he was a Christian but his belief was only (superficial) and he was still a (pagan at heart.) He coveted the apostolic office and saw the opportunity of using Christianity to make money � a business corporation masquerading as the church of Christ!!
From Simon Magus we get the word simony which means to buy a religious office with money.
After his encounter with St. Peter, this magician went to Rome and by tricks and false miracles established a "Christian church" in that city. This man can truly be considered as the first of the age long dynasty of Popes �many coming in Christ's name and deceiving many (Matt. 25:5).

Here is Justin Martyr, born A.D. 114, as recorded in the Anti-Nicean Fathers, in his "First Apology":
"...After Christ's ascension into heaven the devils put forward certain men who said that they themselves were gods: and they were not only persecuted by you [Romans] but were even deemed worthy of honors. There was a Samaritan, Simon, a native of the villiage called Gitto, who in the reign of Claudius Caesar, and in your royal city of Rome, did mighty acts of magic, by virtue of the devils operating in him. He was considered a god, and as a god was honored by you with a statue, wich statue was constructed on the river Tiber... And almost all of the Smaritans, and a few even of other nations, worship him, and knowledge of him as the first god; and a woman named Helena, who went about with him at that time, and had formerly been a prostitute, they say is the first idea generated by him. And a man, Meandeer, also a Samaritan, of the town Cappareteau, a disciple of Simon, and inspired by devils, we know to have deceived many WHILE HE WAS IN ANTIOCH by his magical art... There we have Justin Martyr, within fifty years of John the Beloved's death telling us that this Simon the Magician was the same as recorded in Acts, and he was at ANTIOCH, where it is recorded: "And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch."
People were mistaking the disciples of Simon Magus, the Founder of Christianity, with the true disciples. This is why Peter states,
"Yet if any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." [I Peter 4:16]
Notice that Peter states, "if any man suffer as a Christian", let him not be ashamed."
Why would Peter say that we were not to be ashamed, if it was a great thing to be called a Christian?
Note, that Peter did not say "we are Christians," and I am not!
