He is not a hypocrite, an actor, a "corporatist person" of man's creation; he is a flesh and blood man of God! He is serving the Lord, and certain of the spawn of Satan keep trying to harm him by constantly tearing at him, as a pack of wolves. Their words are empty words, they are not the god they think! In fact, they are no god at all, to be barking to men, "listen to me, and do as I say!" Brother George, your words demonstrate your love for the Lord, as these sons of Belial demonstrate their love for their father, "the father of philosophy". We, which are of the Household of Faith, were born to die if need be; the threats of hypocrites trying to defend their golem market share, as John Calvin did at Geneva when he murdered Michael Servetus, means nothing to us.. The Lord agrees with georges insults towards my miss spelled words? Does he really? Do you think the Lord would insult me whether I am just plain stupid nd cant spell or if I have a learning disability (which I do) called dyselxia that I have all but over come except for some miss spellings I do just fine! You see me and the Lord are OK but George until he repents of his slimey low blow towards me has nothng that he can say to do anything for the kingdom you see that kind of thing has exalted itself above God inhis life and therefore sperates him from God! YALL NEED TO GET SAVED . you listen to yourself and you make up your own doctrines and you think you can do or say whatever you want to and God still honors what you saty and do, But he doesnt not until you repent until George truly repents and turns from ALL his sin he is not opewrating for the Lord and the fact that you think he is after he showed his true colors on my thread proves that you arent either! I will REPEAT the FACTS I did the last time you lied about this. 1. John Calvin was the PASTOR of one of the churches in Geneva. His powers extended ONLY to the wall of the church. He could deny someone from taking the Lord's supper, he could excommunicate a member, etc. 2. John Calvin was not even allowed to VOTE in elections. 3. The TOWN COUNCIL put Servetus to death for refusing to recant from the PUBLIC TEACHING OF HERESY. 4. John Calvin PLEADED FOR SERVETUS, and tried to get a lesser death penalty and THE COUNCIL REJECTED what Calvin asked for. 5. John Calvin PRAYED WITH SERVETUS IN HIS JAIL CELL BEFORE HE WAS EXECUTED. Now, STOP LYING ABOUT CALVIN. Servetus WAS a heretic, and was ALREADY sentenced to death by the Roman Catholic church, and he escaped from prison before they could execute him. He could have went to several countries and lived out his life, but instead for some dumb reason he went straight to Geneva! And I think instead of Wacko man, maybe you should re-name yourself Drama Queen. Anytime someone claims that they are being persecuted because of what others say on this discussion group, I think "Man, what a wimp!" Do you EVER think of not writing in all hyperbole? I am just curious Jude, is there a list of other Christians that it is okay to LIE about? I mean, obviously on CDFF one can tell lies about John Calvin and call him a murderer OVER AND OVER again, after being shown that Calvin never murdered anyone. And I am guessing it is his last name being Calvin, and even though he was dead by the time the ARMINIANS came around and sometime later the NICKNAME "Calvinism" took hold, half the people on this group won't think clearly enough to see the difference. Because if on this group we only tell lies about people who believe that God is sovereign in salvation, then that would be a pretty long list! And I ask this, because so far....ONLY John Calvin is being lied about repeatedly. Myself, I think that bearing false witness is a SIN. JOHN CALVIN IS DEAD!!!:ROFL:... so why are you trying to defend a DEAD man sleeping in his grave for a thousand years, and gone to eternal resting place in heaven, or a place of hell fire in hell? How can a person bear false witness aginst a DEAD MAN? GET A GRIP! God says Paul was a murderer, and he never physically killed anyone, but he stood by holding the coats of those who stoned Stephen to death and this classified him in God's eyes as a murderer. John Calvin may have never physically killed anyone with his hands, but he stood by while others kill men he hated... now this is history behind his name,... and since you weren't there as an eye witness, neither was I or anyone else to give our eye witness account, we must rely on what his-story is about that others have written. So what your defense of someone you never knew or met and know not one thing about except what YOU ALSO READ as others who like Clavin have written!??? Do you defend Jesus' accusers and death as passionately as you defend Calvins accusers??
