There are two (2) types of poverty spoken in the Word of YHWH,Spiritual,and physical.
A person can be physically poor,yet Spiritually Blessed,Yet being Spiritually POOR.
Yet this person will only DIE ONCE.
A person can be Spiritually dead,yet be physically in tremendous shape,monetarily wealthy,and believing they do not need Yeshua.
Yet when this person dies,they will be dying twice..

I will write this once and once only.
A spiritually dead person CANNOT,trust Yeshua to be saving them from the wrath of YHWH.
The only way for a spiritually dead person to be trusting Yeshua,is for Yeshua to give / bestow spiritual life to this person.
Yeshua also gives / bestows 'FAITH',that is 'FAITH' to be trusting Yeshua to save this person from the wrath of YHWH against their sin(s).

PJ,I believe your problem isthat you cannot believe that YHWH is Sovereign and in complete control of ALL of His Creation.
I also believe you have a problem with believing YHWH to sovereignly CHOOSE according to His SOvereign Omniscience whom He will save..

1newguy asks you, if you truly believe that God is not Sovereign, "for the sake of your soul", and you respond as though you have no sense.
When someone is trying to communicate with you, and says "will you give me an answer?" You are not supposed to state something that is not in line with that question.
You write the dumbest things sometimes; it is as though your mind cannot comprehend dialogue.
Does this [below] look like an answer to: "PLEASE TELL ME THAT WHAT YOU WROTE IS A TYPO; ARE YOU STATING THAT GOD IS NOT SOVEREIGN?"
And you write:
"According to You it is, but it is not according to Him.
My father is not a man that he should lie."
If you truly respected the Father, you'd start by capitalizing His name, "F"ather every time you use It.
"LET YOUR 'YEA' BE YEA, AND YOUR 'NAY' BE NAY; ANYTHING MORE THAN THIS COMETH OF EVIL!"
Whenever you make a smart-alek comments, don't you realize that you are dishonoring the "F"ather?

Pj, you HAVE to realize that you never give a clear answer. You HAVE to know yet you continue to respond in your smug ways. There is no other way to see it unless you think you are on par with God which I pray you do not. Do you not read your replies? I read mine to make sure I do not come off as avoiding the question or seeming arrogant. You seem to shoot off the hip like Clint Eastwood only with bad aim.
The only thing more sad than witnessing this, and I truly, truly mean this, is when others ignorantly support you just to gain any support they can regardless of the source.
This is what happens when you base your theology off of your emotions and what you think is fair and right in your mind and not on the perfect Word of God.
Be like the Bereans people! Trust His Word not collective agreement of what seems right to man.

It is in the small mindedness of fleshly men that a mans opportunity to reject salvation or heed the Lords call takes away from Gods sovergnty!
Many are called and few are chosen, God calls but to become chosen you must submit! I dont see how anyone can deny this! Gods sovergnty does not make us puppets!
and to hear a clavinist say it if God sets his sights on you then you are saved and thats it! So again I ask if He calls many then WHY COME is it just the few that are chosen? Why arent many called and many chosen? or why doesnt it say few are caled and few are chosen? If grace is against the will of man then Gods calling is mot needed! But if it was as the predestinationists say it is (but it isnt) then all who are called would be chosen and Gods word speaks on the contrary to that! The bunch that believe they are the "elect" got real upset when I poisted an article that explained the context of Romans 9 their proof text!
