However, there are some who believe every sermon should be be for saving the lost. There are 2 parts in the Great commission. 1. Make disciples of all nations 2. Teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded. About 90% of the NT commandments are for believers: 2 Timothy 3:16: "All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Ephesians 4:11-16: It was He {Jesus} who gave some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.{They teach the Prosperity Gospel and that its ok for women to teach men in the church-See I Cor 14:34,35; I Tim 2:10,11} Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." I find it haed to believbe that they sing this song I am sure they do but I have never heard it and its hard for me not to take it the wrong way froma band who also recorded mr jones a song about sex and addiction and a friend of the devi is a fiend of mine a remake of an old gretful dead song! to the eys of the flesh it looks good but knowing where it originated makes me ill! Like they have taken great truthes and used the lord and the bad things some men do in his name to make money and sale records! Just an observation! Post Reply

Casting Crowns and Counting Crows. And they came from Counting Crows over to Casting Crowns.... something like that.
