The Holy Spirit's arrival heards the beginning of Christian church/ Know the Truth

Officially called "Acts of the Apostles", the book of Acts is a bridge between the story of Jesus in the Gospels and the life of the church in the letters that follow. Luke begins with Jesus' ascension into heaven after forty days of post-resurrection activity, speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Ten days later, God sends the Holy Spirit on the festival day of Pentecost and the church is born.
Through the Spirit, the desciples are empowered to preach boldly about Jesus, and three thousand people become Christians that day, Jewish leaders, fearing the movement called "this way", begin persecuting believers, who scatter to other areas and spread the gospel through much of the known world. The ultimate persecutor, Saul, becomes a Christian himself, after meeting the brightly shining, heavenly Jesus on the road to Damascus.
Saul, later called Paul, ultimately joins Peter and other Christian leaders in preaching, working miracles, and stregthening the fledgling Church.
Acts was probably writen sometime between AD 62 and 80.
Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts. 1:11)
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of Sins, and ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
(Acts 2:38)
Neither is there Salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be Saved. ( Acts 4:12)
Christians today are driven by the same force that Acts describes; " Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." ( Acts 1:8)

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit:
1. First shows that Yeshua has been Glorified.
Joh 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
2. The sacrifice of Yehsua had been recieved of YHWH as the full ransom payment for sinful man.
That the unfair exchange of Life for life had been accepted.
The Life of the SINLESS Son of YHWH,for those that would be trusting Yeshua, to save them from the wrath of YHWH against their sin(s)
Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight
3. Yeshua had kept His Word about 'ANOTHER COMFORTER' being given to believers.
Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Joh 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
4.The Father would now be drawing unto Yeshua,all that the Father had given to Yeshua.
Joh_6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh_6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
5.The judgement of all flesh had been fulfilled.
Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
Joh 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
6. THE GOSPEL WOULD GO FORTH IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
7. YHWH would deal with believers according to His Grace,not the law.
Heb 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The Gospel is never about the believers,though believers are mentioned in the Word.
The Gospel is about YESHUA..
Shalom
Me
