I am not diluted enough to think that I will convince anyone that what I believ is right, but I am still gonna post it because I feel like you all should know that I dont just believe those things I have reasons for it!
30 The next day Moses said to the people, You have committed a great sin. But now I will go up to the LORD; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.
31 So Moses went back to the LORD and said, Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold.
32 But now, please forgive their sinbut if not, then blot me out of the book you have written.
33 The LORD replied to Moses, Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book.
(you must be in the book to be blotted out)
rev 3 :5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
( you must be in the book in the first place to be blotted out right?)
2Pe 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
2Pe 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
(so then it is possible to fall! BTW is this saying that we must give diligence to make our calling and election sure??? I an confused?? does it take our diligence?)
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
( watch and pray??? is that suggesting there are things we must do to be counted worthy to stand before Jesus)

Elisha, you must keep in mind there are two groups of people who profess and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
The one group are the TRULY BORN AGAIN BAPTIZED FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST believers who are truly free from their sins and do everything they can to kesold out to the Lord, and are set free from sins, and denounce sin in their daliy living and lifestyles.
The second groups are those believrs who believe in Jesus Christ and HAVE NOT TOTALLY SURRENDERED their lives over to the Lord, so that they might be BAPTIZED AND FULLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. And they may be church going people, givers of their tithes and offerings, attend church regularly, and know the talk and do what is expected of them... but they don't wlak the walk behind closed doors... they are still LIVING IN SINS as Paul points out PRACTING SINS living in adultry, they are still sleeping around with their boy/girlfriends and not married, lying and cheating, and they still are doing the same things they did BEFORE they said they were born again... just doing it a different way... some are still drinking and going to night clubs, they have not surrendered their lives over to the Lord, becasue they think they are saved and God will forgive them, so the flirt with the seriousness of their salvation.
Listen to what Paul says about a TRULY BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN BELIEVER : Hebrews 6:4 For it is IMPOSSIBLE for those (thses are the true born again christains) who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Paul is saying its rather impossibel for a truly born again beklivers to fail away from walking with the Lord, and if one should fail away, it is also impossible to restore that person, because they have slapped what Christ did and made a mockry out of His dead... but only God can restore such a person... if He so chooses to do so... it would eb his choice only!
(These are the truly born agian believers) For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
( these are the one who says they are born again and have a FORM OF GODLINESS) But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Ture born again believers it is impossible for them to lose ther salvation because they are determined to be sold out to Christ in all things, and do not practice sin in their lives.
Only those who have a false profession and confession of going throught the motions of presenting themselves as being born again are they one who continue practicing sin in their lives, and if there is no repentance, they will loses what they THOGUHT THEY HAD... thsi is why God say He is not slack in punsihing us for sins, but He is waiting for those who say they know Him to trun from their wicked ways and repnet of their sins...
If my people who are called by my name would do what?...
Those who are born again christians in thier eharts if we sin God chastises us if we do not repent of our sins, Hebrews chapter 12.
But those who say they know him and still sin He will reject Hebrews chapter 10.

George if I was to post every bit of the context of every scripture I wouldnt have enough room! But I did post some before and after text on most of thesde verses and i am not stupid as you think , please be specific if you think that one of these verses are out of context! I dont see how you could take them out of context!! furthermore and i have said this before the new testement did not 86 the old one they work together Jesus himself said I did not come to abolish the law but to fullfill it!!! God does not change he is the same yesterday today and forever!! If he will blot out names in exodus he will do it in revelation and he will do it today! God is God he has never changed ther are other scriptures!! Iam not the one taking stuff out of context! blotting a name out of the book is very clear, #1 if your name was in the book then ou had to have been saved as ther are scriptures that say in revelation for example that every mans name who wasnt in the book ws cast into the lake of fire! thats an iference (you do know about inference I am sure) that if your name ws in the book your saved! SO if it was once in the book then you were once saved if it was blotted out or marked out then your not saved anymore! hgow could it be more clear? please george you nevr have a problem going deep into things and explaining why your right about something.. tell me how you can have your name in the book then have it blotted out but once yoyr saved you will alwasy be saved.. these words in exodus were spoken by Jehova..
LET GOD BE TRUE AND EVERY MAN A LIE . please please expalin what i have taken out of context!
I asure you all of these scriptures are in their context and they do INFER what I implied that they Infer!

Ok, I would like to add that I myself have been a backslider!! Thre is no doubt inmy mind that I was saved the first time! I was deliverd ,set free and complely saved.. but I let my eyes wonder too much and slipped back into the world for several years.. I WAS SAVED I KNOW I WAS!!! I also know that after I back slid I was worse off that I ws before I got really bad , ungodly and sinful!! I also know that i am saved now! THERE IS NOTHING ANYONE CAN SAY TO CONVINCE ME I DID NOT EXPERIENCE THAT!! idid get saved and I did backslide fell righrt back into the HOGPIN I had been in in the first place!!
So between the scriptures, my own experience and my common sence!! well I dont think I can be convinced otherwise!! However I would like for george to explain how the scriptures inmy post are out of context and explain to me then what expactly the Lord meant by blot out the name
