Hello Everyone:
Do you mind if i cut in here for a second or two,maybe three.
I have a question for EVERYONE on this site and in this life.
WHose Salvation are we talking about.
Is it Your Salavtion, Angel,James,Elisha,PEEjay,Et,Eude,
Prophet,Mcubed,Thunder,Mr.Row,Karl,and anyone else in this life.
As i have been reading the many writings about Salvation,I have read almost every one of these saying that it was Their / Salvation.
This is the reason almost everyone of you are 'STRIVING' to either KEEP,protect maintain,or guard 'YOUR SALVATION'.
Many are 'TRYING' to stay saved by 'REPENTING'.
Others by 'TRYING' to share the Gospel.
Then there are those which TRY' GUARDING 'their SALVATION by obeying the LAW.
There are those 'TRYING' to do good works to maintain
'THEIR' SALVATION.
Can anyone see that these are nothing but a Works type of Slavation,which depends upon a persons own EFFORTS,at KEEPING their salvation in tact...
There is not one bit of FAITH in trusting Yeshua to save you,Protect you,guard you,provide for you.
And here are the biggest ones yet.
Yeshua is the one that guarantess your 'FORGIVENESS'.
A person is not forgiven of their sin(s) because they have repented.
Each and EVERY person is FORGIVEN,as Yeshua has shed His Blood,and given His life for their life.
A person is to be Trusting Yeshuas Blood as the Only payment of their sin(s) to be acceptabe to YHWH.
Heb 9:22 and with blood almost all things are purified according to the law, and apart from blood-shedding forgiveness doth not come.
No mention of 'REPENTANCE' here,nor good works,no tithing,not even baptism.
Just the shedding of BLOOD.
Now my Salvation (The Farmer),does not belong to me,for I have been,saved by the Grace of YHWH in Yesuha.
Salvation,was,is,and always will belong to YHWH in Yeshua.
According to the Word of YHWH,as I am Faithing into Yesuha
I have been saved (Past)
I currently am being saved.(Present)
I will be saved upon the return of Yeshua.(Future)
I am saved by the Grace of YHWH in Yeshua.
I live in His Salvation of me.
I have never done anything to being saved.
I have never done anything to keep,protect,guard,or maintain myself to being saved.
Joh 6:39 And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of the One sending Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
2Ti 1:12 for which cause also these things I suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I have known in whom I have believed, and have been persuaded that he is able that which I have committed to him to guard--to that day.
I do believe that many are not understanding that when they say they trust Yeshua,but they are trying to be doing something for their salvation to remain,
They are actually showing that they are not trusting Yesuha at all.
There are a few reasons for this.
1.The person may not be saved.
2.Ignorance of the Gospel.
3. Bad Theology,very bad Theology.
4.Trusting what MEN are saying,instead of being a Berean.
There are more,yet these are sufficient for the moment.
I hope people will begin 'TRUSTING' Yeshua to Saving them with His Salvation,not their own salvation.
When Yeshua saves someone He /Yeshua takes FULL responsibility for that person,for He is the Saviour,and Shepherd of that persons soul,and life.
Yeshua thus is the Master and Owner of this person.
Yeshua is fully capable to make a person to be growing in Faith,Love and Good deeds.
Eph 2:10 for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.
Yeshua is capable of Saving a person.
Yehsua will protect you from the wrath of YHWH against your sin(s).
Yeshua will provide for you,discipline you when necessay.
Yeshua,will Shepherd / Pastor you very efficiently.
Yeshua will Love you unconditionally,no matter what happens with you.
To those 'TRYING' to be doing something to remain saved,
please remember these words of Yeshua.
John 19:30

George it is also a good example of self rightousness, when we try to communicat the things of God against the word of God or not in agreement with it.

George just because you did not mention any of the scriptures that have the word repentence in them doesnt mean there arent any! Sin seperates us from God and repentence and faith in Jesus put us back in comunion with H

Next let us look at the text and the context.
Sorrow towards YHWH,i believe there is a difference with the translations.
The KJV Scripture you posted has repentance as WORKING towards being saved.
Thus a persons salvation then depends upon MY repentance,yet the WORD of YHWH clearly refutes such thinking.
