THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.: On the day of Pentecost, empowered by the Holy Spirit, Peter preached and his sermon saved 3000 souls. The Holy Spirit ministers to your spirit, gives you a change of heart and saves your soul. HUMAN DOCTRINES 1 Timothy 1:3-4 'As I urge you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus, in order that you may instruct certain men, not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attension to myths and endless genealogies, which gives rise to mere speculations rather than furthering the administration of God, which is by faith". Human doctrines creates a big head but a small heart.They minister to the mind cannot save soul, they are speculation that creates confusion and arguments. What do you say? Post Reply

James replies: This is not true at all. Peter preached and GOD.......had the Holy Spirit make alive 3000 people. We do not save people, God does. Secondly, your Title question: "What is the difference between the Holy Spirit Ministry and Human Doctrines." The Holy Spirit is God and He has a ministry of making God's Elect come alive, convicting us of sin, leading us into truth, etc. As far as "Human doctrines", I am hoping you mean non-Christians, and what they believe about God and sin and salvation etc. A lot of emotionally driven Christians with fuzzy theology, label anything doctrines they disagree with, "Traditions of men", "Carnal thinking", or "Human traditions".
