The death of Messiah Yeshua, His death was a glorious death,

Hello everyone:

On Sunday mornings most people in America (oopppssss my bad The Homeland),will be gathering together to worthship, and praise Yeshua.

Some people will actually gather to break bread in remembrance if Yeshua..

In remembering Yeshua we proclaim His death,Yet do we proclaim the Glory of His death.

Yeshuas' death was gory, bloody, and He died the common death of a convicted criminal,Yet His death was and is a GLORIOUS death.

If i only remember how Yeshua died, yet i do not think and mediteate upon the results of His death, then i do not understand the Majesty, and the Glory of His death.

Here are some of the gory Scriptures which proclaim His death.

(YLT) and enmity I put between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he doth bruise thee--the head, and thou dost bruise him--the heel.

Psa 22:1 To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

Psa 22:2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

Psa 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Psa 22:4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

Psa 22:5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

Psa 22:6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

Psa 22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

Psa 22:8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

Psa 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's paps.

Psa 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

Psa 22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

Psa 22:12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

Psa 22:13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

Psa 22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

Psa 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Isa 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Now where in the Scriptures does YHWH tell us of the Glorious results of the death of His Messiah.

Hey my brother! This Sunday, on the Lord's day, me and a few brethren will be gathering to celebrate not only His death for us, BUT His resurrection day. That is the day that we have been raised up together with Him in victory.

Psalm 118: 22-26 The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. 23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. 25 Save us, we pray, O LORD! O LORD, we pray, give us success! 26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We bless you from the house of the LORD.

Morning George and Agapeton:waving:

George all the passages you have posted answers your questions.

George quoted: Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Ella says: In fact, Isaiah 52:12 give you/ us a for sure answer and explanation the results of His death, and why we glory and rejoice in His death and should remember it through the commuion, gathering together, etc. In that, it describes what Jesus did on the cross and the wodnerful results of His death in our stead... "He poured out His soul unto death, and was numbered with the trandgressors (among sinner, though He was without sins) And Jesus bore the sins of many (Jesus became our sin debt for us, so that WE MIGHT have salvation unto eternal life) and made intercession for the transgressors. (Jesus is our Advocate and High Priest, and Mediator, standing before God interceding on our behalf pleading with God for His grace and mercy for our sins)

George said: Now where in the Scriptures does YHWH tell us of the Glorious results of the death of His Messiah.

Ella says: As you read Isaiah 53 and the other passages you have posted you will see and find the GLORIOUS RESULTS of the death of Jesus, as well as the ones I am posting, and why we remember and give Him honor and power, and might in all things especially, in His death on the cross, and resurrection from the grave.

These are a FEW RESULTS OF JESUS DEATH ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS in answer to your question Where in Scripture does GOD tell us the glorious results of the death of His Messiah?:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

rOMANS 5: 6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from Gods wrath through him! For if, while we were Gods ENEMIES, we were RECONCILED to GOD through the DEATH of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be SAVED through his life! Not only is this so, but we also BOAST in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received RECONCILIATION (meaning been redeemed back to God through the death of Christ).

Romans 4:22 This is why it was credited to him as righteousness. The words it was credited to him were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousnessfor us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Hebrews 9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in Gods presence. Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Luke 24:45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised ; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high. (which is the power of the Holy Spirit, this is the Promise of the power of the Godhead living on the insde of us)

Thesee are some of the results of what and why God tell us He we are to glorify in the death of Jesus Christ, becasue it was for our OWN solu's salvation, that He should suffer and be offered up to death.

One of the greatest Acts of faith any Man ever took.

He knew and yet he allowed and accepted all he became that I would no longer have to suffer, all that he suffered.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, whoknew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

2 Cor. 5:21

My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Cor. 12:9

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. 2 Cor. 13:5

To Sal:

Hey Sal,Yes we do celebrate the resurrection, yet we are also to proclaim the death of Yeshua when we break bread..

1Co 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

1Co 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

1Co 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

1Co 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Without the death of Messiah, there would be no ressurection.

Without the resurrection, the death of Messiah is of no value, for we would still be awaiting the Messiah of YHWH to appear the first time.

Certain groups of people focus upon the death of Yeshau, and

mourn over His death and their sin(s),not understanding the value ana the glory of His death.

Life for life.

Shalom

Hello everyone

Dr. Phil writes

George there are those that propose to understand but do not see it is a choice, no man's mind can walk in the truth.

Me

Hey Phil glad to see that you have added your two cents worth to this comversation,

And we know how much two HOMELAND pennies are worth today.

Yup that is right ZERO,nothing notta.

Phil i am glad to see that you did not use your mind to formulate your reply.

For had you used your mind, you would have noticed that in the Scriptures, yes the HEBREW Scripture that Messiahs name is HEBREW,which name is YESHUA HA MESHIACH,Yeshua the Messiah.

But the next time i read the Old Covenant Scripture i will remember not to use my mind to think with.

Nor will i use any type of Biblical study helps such as Hebrew and Greek interlinears,Concordances,Dictionaries of Biblical words,Lexicons etc

I will try to remember what you said about the Hebrew Messiah, that His name is of GREEK origin Jesus.

Shalom

Hey George!

I see your point and agree. But we celebrate His death as well as His resurrection but we do not re-sacrifice Him again at our gatherings like we do in the regular structured meetings. See one thing that the letter to the Corinthians is about is rebuke. And with that being said, one can see how the gatherings (Jude and Peter called them love feasts) were about while seeing the believers then not doing them in a way that was pleasing to Christ, while at the same time applying the essential core blueprint of the gathering.

The gathering was spontaneous, it was celebratory, for the edification of all by all, no one had more authority, or a complete lock on the sharing time frame of the gathering, and a meal.

We see this in Paul's rebuke to them on how they abused it but in his rebuke we also see that it was a celebration where the wine was in the form of a toast and the bread was in the form of a source of nourishment for others who had none.

The reason why Paul was speaking of proclaiming "His death" to a group who knew that His death made their gathering possible as a people freed from the curse of death, was also a form of rebuke because they, in their over indulging and being cliquey, were neglecting the prime reason they were there. The reminding them of His return was Paul's reminder to them of the Husband's coming back to pick up His bride and take her home to His father's house. The coming home to take us to His father's house was a symbol of a Jewish wedding and Paul was reminding them of that as well.

So once again, the gatherings are to be in celebration amongst the believers.

By the way, check this site out and then read the book of John again and tell me what you think about Jesus' statements through out the book of John. The wedding at the beginning of the gospel pretty much is the whole theme of John's narration without the believer really paying attention to it now a days. That is one of the reasons why I love that gospel. It is so Jewish that it has so many avenues of study within the Jewish school of thought.

Anyways, here is the link. Let me know what you think.

May the Lord Jesus be magnified and glorified in all who are called and call upon His name.
