Posted : 29 Jan, 2012 05:56 PM There are many who run for public office who tend to always expres that they are saved and born again during the time of election, in order to get votes of the Christian community. Yet, when you check their voting records, they tend to support and vote against all those things that God is against in His word fo truth. When considering all scripture passages in God's Word, and Old Testament accounts of history of godly and ungodly leaders of nations in the Old to the New Testaments, as how God is the One who really is the one who makes the choice of our spiritual leaders, and our government leaders based upon His divine purposes and plans.. although we think we are the ones who make the choices through our votes... (1)How important do you think the GOP Candidate is to God and Christians? I personally, think that the eyes of the Lord are upon Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum as the two front runners for the Republican party...and one of them will win as the Presidential candidate for the race to the White House:excited::goofball:...duuuh, just had to throw that in:ROFL: What say you? This is the problem with this country. Christian are sitting back in their easy chair and praying about it instead of being active.The world has taken over with their agenda. Rick Santorun is the only good pick for christians. He is pro life and pro family. Romney is a prochoice moderate. He is not a christian. Post Reply

Posted : 30 Jan, 2012 07:27 AM We will see The hand of God moving in the government for their are some that know the responsibility and power of pray but many yet open their mouths and nullify their prayers. We will the spirit of God move in this country and even this year but those that walk in their own opinion's will mock it and scorn it and will give place to Satan in a big way. Time to warn those in the way of the truth instead instead of walking in the truth. There will be evil days ahead and their will be great days ahead for those that will ride the wave of glory that is upon this nation. Post Reply

I agree, as Christians we have need to look at this whole picture from the eyes of God, and not just becasue we are trying to be politically correct, yet, being spiritually wrong. God is watching all of us to see if indeed we are standing as He has instructed us in the faith, and its so sad that many Christians are not doing such because they woudl rather be men pleasers than pleasing to God. There is a BIG difference betwenn being PRO-CHOICE (this is based on man's will and desire), AND BEING PROLIFE(this is based on what God speaks in His Word of Truth YOU SHALL NOT KILL) It does indeed matter to God.. And Christians are responsible before God to make that choice of a leader based on God's Word rather than who they like or don't like in a candidate, becasue we are going to he held accountable to God, as the people were regarding Saul and other leaers they chose over God's will, but according to their own wills and desires... and they suffered the consequences of their choice. But God will allow such to happen to show Himself as God and in power... Its as if no one is praying for God to make the choice, and many who made the right choices in the Old and New Testament for about their leaders, prayed for God to direct them. But Christians today, many want to have their own way in picking their favorite candidate in this matter based on thier own politically corrupt minds, much is based on separation of church and state concept so no one prays, which is not scriptural nor did God or our forefather mean this in the manner which it is being taken. God said we are to pray always into all things. God is the originator of the church and the state, and we are told in scripture that the government was created and structured and set into order by God and not by man. Yes, the state can separate its self from the church, but you sure cannot separate GOD from the state! that which He created. And you see the hyporicy, in this?... when election time rolls around, all the politicians testify they are saved, and love the Lord, and where do they head to for their votes??? UUH, THE CHURCH! God is in Control, not man! As you said, Christians today, many want to have their own way in picking their favorite candidate. But God has a plan and it will all work out according to his will.
