TODAY'S CHRISTIANS LACK AN ACTIVE FAITH.
Faith is acting on the word of God, most Christians are reader of the word and not doers of the word.
Faith without action is an illusion, when we have an active faith there is no reason to be struggling Christians but overcoming Christians, because we are sons and daughters of God, and whatever is born of God is victorious over trials and tribulations of this world
Overcoming Christians practice what they read or are taught, they see trails and tribulations as building blocks of faith, they see solutions instead of problems,.
Todays Christians wants to go heaven by seating in the pews of Churches, praying and POLUTED BY SIN.
The word of God is good medicine, until we start taking our medicine as priscribed, we will always struggle.
Paul had a thorn in his side that he asked God to remove and God said His grace was sufficient and that He was made strong in his weakness. Was Paul using an active faith then?

2Co 12:8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me.
2Co 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Co 12:10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Ofcourse the Apostle was ACTING ON HIS FAITH after his request was turned down3 times by God to remove the thorn in his flesh.
He saw his sitaution as a blessing and not a problem and he totally relied on the word of God and acted on the word, when God told him HIS GRACE IS ENOUGH.
Everything works together for the good of those who love God, good or bad.
He accepted God's decision, he did not quit his Ministry, but become stronger in faith, he realized that he had to decrease for God to increase.
In his weakness God marvellous power can be manifested.
So then, brother, whom are you to say that a fellow brother or sister isn't apt to have "active faith" because they may be struggling?
What you see in them as a lacking the Lord sees as a chance for his power to be seen in the struggling Christian's weakness.
The fact that the Christian is struggling with this thing is a good sign. If he the Christian wasn't struggling, then one could come to the conclusion that the Christian was either dead or completely given to what ever the Christian was struggling with.
Just a thought to consider.

the answer to tha is people all people all flesh is strugling because sin has corrupted the world and we must live in this world , PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF STORMS
Peace is feeling safe in God even through the troubles times.
Just like I said on a nohter thread faith is not kowing that God is gonna show up and save your behind faith is serving him no matter what and wheter or not he delivers you or not
We are not going to be deliverd everytime, at some point we are going to die some of us from cancer or other diseases but if a christian dies from cancr it doesnt mean they are lacking in their walk it just means it was their time

So, now I ask you, brother. Do you sin? Do you have every crevice of your life blemish free and are completely pure of sin before God? Are you righteously clean before Him in order to make an absolute statement at all of "todays Christians", brother?
I think Christian are struggling because of their lack or faith and weak faith. Many Christians fail to remember that it is impossibkle to please God without faith, and many fail to cultivate their faith by allowing their trials and hardtimes be their teaching grounds to teach them to totally depend and trust in God in their daily lives.
Jesus teaches us in Matthew chapter 6, not to worry about things and to pray to the Father to give us our daily bread, meaning to meet our needs.. but disobedience repents these kind of faith, we tend to try and take care of our own needs and fail to pray and be paitence as James says to let patinece have her perfect works in us.
Also, many Chirstians don't have this type of trust depending on God and taking Him at His word it much easier to fight with God to try and make things happen in our lives, than to turst and believe God, that He will do as He has promised and siad He would do.
We are taught in Romans chapter 4, that Abrqaham is our father of faith and we are to have the same kind of BLIND FAITH and he, in that He believed God going without knowing where he was goin, and doign without knwoing why or what he was doing.
Many Christian struggle because they are immature spiritual in their relationships with God, and in His word, and this is why they worry too much and are afriad to be still an know that God is God, unbelief and bodut causes many to struggle as well, becasue they fail to accept the total works of God as evidence that He will keep His word.
Struggling in any manner is whatever situation or circumstance is due to not trusting and weak faith and doubting and unbelief.
Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
could we as christians be lacking in this?

as christians you mean children of God, not empty proclaimers?
