1 Samuel 12:

14 If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God: 15 But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.

This was recorded in the bible for our benefit. That much, we know. But, do you think it applies to todays citizens and the civil leaders?

WELCOME TO THE FORUM RTH, :waving:.. yes, I think everything that is written is for every human God has created and is for our benift for daily living.

You're right, many of us don't follow what He has given us because we are disobedant, stiffnecked, hardhead and rebllious.

But God has also written and provided a way out and information for us as to how we can overcome such sins od disobedience if we respond to His word... but again, we still refuse to be overcomers in obedinece to the good things He has written for us.

Good post!:glow:
