James 4:2c-3."You do not have because you do not ask?. You ask and do not recieve because you ask with wrong motives, so that you can spend it on your own pleasures".
For prayers to be answered we must be obedient to the word and instructions of the Lord.
1."YOU DO NOT HAVE BECAUSE YOU DO NOT ASK"
Instruction: Ask and you will recieve. People that are OK don't need God so they cannot recieve from God. God created us as dependant not independent of Him. An independent Spirit is seperated from God.
2. "YOU ASK AND DO NOT RECIEVE BECAUSE YOU ASK WITH WRONG MOTIVE SO THAT YOU CAN SPEND IT ON YOUR OWN PLEASURES" .
Our requests must be within the will of God, your motives and intent must correspond with word of God.
3. Isaiah 59:1-2 "Behold the Lord hand is not so short, That He cannot save, Neither is His hear dull, that He cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a seperation between you and your God. And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear".
When we are in sin God is seperated from us, He is not deaf he can hear you but will not respond to your request until you confess, repent and turn away from you sin, then you can renew your relationship with Him.
4.Matthew 11:24 "Therefore I say to you all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have recieved them they shall be granted you".
We must pray by faith, without faith you cannot please and recieve from God.
5. Always pray in the name of Jesus He is your connector to God.
it is the opinion of some that we are to strong are the Lord name what we want and claim it as ours or name it and claim it!
It is the opinion of some that we are to demand by giving, "so lord I wronte a check today and you must increase it by 30, 60 or 100 in the next 30 60 or 100 days"

THe Lord has set our relationships up on earth and our love for one another here as an example of our relationship and love of Him
marriges and child parent relationships reflect the relationships with The Father and with the Lord jesus
its not rocket science.. HE wants us to be able to understand His Love for us so He set up the system of parents and children to be a smaller model of his love for us
just like theyu are born in the image of their parents their own flesh we can get a glimpse at how the Lord loves us provides for us and corrects us and figuriong out what you want and demanding it is not part of any of those relationships not of a succsesful one anyway
God loves us but I just dont thnk demanding anything from him including money houses children or healings are the way to go rather humbly request with respect and fear and always under the circumstances that it is his will
sure we can pray against Gods will and he may even answer those prayers the way we would have likes but getting out of Gods will is not a great idea therefor the name it and claim it stuff dont hold water, rather asking like you would ask your father with respect and love
ok it means that Jesus said for us to ASK not DEMAND we dont control God if its a matter of saying ok I am claiming a 202 camaro with leather seats in the name of Jesus., thats garbage its untrue and there is a scripture i just saw it but its early and it slips my mind that says if we ask with the proper intentions, something to that effect .
its not a matter of claiming a new job or a new car. its a matter of asking God witha humble heart because you kow all things belong to him and asking him in such a way that you are asking him to do things according to his will not just deciding you want something a certain way or want something at all then saying what it was and claiming it in the name of Jesus thats not how it works the lord said ask in his name, and if our hearts are right we wont be asking for anything more for ourselfs than our needs being met thats it, and for our body to be healed thats so we can serve him according to his will and we should pray for others to have their needs met and healed bodies so they can do hid will and serve him..
