We all are missionaries that can spread the Good Word to others about us and that might be our gift. We do not have to overseas to the heathen, they are all around us. Sharing the salvation we have with others should be our priority. Post Reply

shalom716 View Profile History	diversities of gifts Posted : 19 Feb, 2012 01:28 PM I'm a little confused about sharing the plan of salvation unless lead by the Holy Spirit. It is my opinion that most people in this country anyway, have heard the gospel, one only needs to tune in or off of the TV to do so, not that all the preachers are true ministers of the word. I just don't understand why they want money to further the gospel, when it has already been preached. Those who are not saved, have rejected the gospel. The churches should be feeding the poor or giving to missions overseas, those who are helping the poor. We are so richly blessed in this country and there are so many others lacking. We are a christian nation and do help other countries and yes, we can help our neighbors and show them the love of Christ by some kind gesture if that is what you mean by winning a soul to Christ. I know I have planted a lot of seeds along the way, but G-d gives the increase. Post Reply

Ye are the salt of the earth..Ye are the light of the world Matthew 5:13-14 Love your ememies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute You. Matthew 5:44 Only Indwelling of the "Holy Sprit" can help us be doers. There are some churches that help the poor and give to missions. Post Reply
