Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, The Mountain of the Lord of hosts, The Holy Mountain.' 4 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age. 5 The streets of the city Shall be full of boys and girls Playing in its streets.' 6 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, Will it also be marvelous in My eyes?' Says the Lord of hosts. 7 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east And from the land of the west; 8 I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.' 9 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Let your hands be strong, You who have been hearing in these days These words by the mouth of the prophets, Who spoke in the day the foundation was laid For the house of the Lord of hosts, That the temple might be built. 10 For before these days There were no wages for man nor any hire for beast; There was no peace from the enemy for whoever went out or came in; For I set all men, everyone, against his neighbor. 11 'But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,' says the Lord of hosts. 12 'For the seed shall be prosperous, The vine shall give its fruit, The ground shall give her increase, And the heavens shall give their dew-- I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these. 13 And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.' 14 "For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Just as I determined to punish you When your fathers provoked Me to wrath,' Says the Lord of hosts, 'And I would not relent, 15 So again in these days I am determined to do good To Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear. 16 These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace; 17 Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; And do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate,' Says the Lord." 18 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, 19 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'The fast of the fourth month, The fast of the fifth, The fast of the seventh, And the fast of the tenth, Shall be joy and gladness and cheerful feasts For the house of Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.' 20 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities; 21 The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, "Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord, And seek the Lord of hosts. I myself will go also." 22 Yes, many peoples and strong nations Shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the Lord.' 23 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." Zechariah 9:16 The Lord their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land-- 17 For how great is its goodness And how great its beauty! Praise God he will save his people !!!!!!!! Let the true riches of His never ending mercy and grace be over abundantly be basked in by all His children. For we have received forgiveness through Christ's work on the cross for us. And in that most precious gift we have become as rich as kings and must spread the riches that have been bestowed upon us the same way He lovingly and freely declared it to us. And as PJ said, if anyone denies this type of prosperity that one denies the very Christ who gave up His riches to become a lowly man to die and redeem us from the earthly advancements, blessings, and cares of money. Prosperity the root word is prosper we, arent none of us stupid we understand the prosperity that comes with Christ being crucified ans we understand the false doctrine that claims to be prosperity of Christ but always concentrates on money... why would we want to study the prosperity gospel you so eagerly defend when we have all figured out a long time ago its a doctrine of devils trying to fool those with a weakness for wordly riches in their flesh into falling away from true faith in the Lord Jesus! True prosperity's riches are in heaven not in the world where moth and rust ect ect!!! Boy PJ some are right when they say you expose your heart , you do it repeadtedly... The gospel that teaches the richer you are the more spiritual you are is false.. no they dont come out and say the richer you are the more God aproves of you, but they say things like someone said the other day, if you dont have much its cause God doesnt trust you with much.. REALLY???? is that the Jesus you know? THats not what the Lord I kow whoul teach, he would teach faith and trust in the Lord no matter what your finacial situation looks like, but if you cant understand what I have said let me put it into your language for you The Lord would not agree with your unbelife and your doubt has made God a liar and the prd of truth of non effect! Does that make better since to you? or does it sound circular just like when you give those sorts of answers? sorry for the sarcasim PJ but dang dude you really do give these crazy circular answers, I am sorry you r have been decieved as to what prosperity in Christ looks like I do hope the scales will fall off soon and you will have your yureeka moment Post Reply

As Christians we are never excused from proclaiming The truth. We are never permitted to have an opinion, nor tell the lord what he meant when he gave us his word. I kept very simple on purpose, so that some would not sin with their mouth. To accept and understand this word Prosperity one needs to renew their to mind to What The word of God teaches prosperity is. This post say's that prosperity is not the Gospel. Elisha If you will notice I have never wavered on this term and there is no circling on my part, it is fear of many that have griped their heart concerning prosperity. Please put a foundation to it with Scriptural support within its context, brother, because to deny the fact that even the Son of Man did not have a pillow to lay his head on would imply that is adding on to the gospel of Christ's redemptive work on the cross for us.
