Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.�
We are to be the wirness of Jesus Christ as born again Christian believers in Him. This Great Commison of our Lord still applies to every Christian believers, and with the empowerment of His Holy Spirit granting us power in His word, we are to GO and tell the lost and the backsliders about the love of Jesus Christ and preach HIs Gospel Doctrine, inviting people to receive Him by faith.
We are to share our testimonies with them of our faith and salvation, and concerned with evanglism and making disciples out of those who don't know Jesus Christ and His wonderful work on the crucified cross, because. the promise fo teh Father is to them as well
As we read in the book of Acts, they discipels and apostles obeyed the call to GO, and they preached the doctirne of Jesus and told them about their faith and conversions, and thus many people were healed, saved, and delivered.
If you profess and confess to be filled with the Holy Spirit of the Living God, you were not empowered to sit around talking about His power or His gifts doing nothing. His power and gifts are to be used as witnessing tools in ministry of the gospel for Jesus Christ.
If you SAY you LOVE Jesus so much... Where are you going from the Southside to the Eastside, from the Northside to the Westside in your community, your town, your neighborhoods in your near by cities with the gospel telling people about Jesus and their need for a Savior, using His spiritual gifts and power to fulfill His command? ... Jesus says, IF YOU LOVE YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS IN OBEDIENCE!
How are you proving your LOVE for Christ in obedience? So whose witness are you in obedience... the Prosecutors (Devil) or the Defendant (Jesus Christ)?
Heavenly Father, please forgive me as I repent of my shortcomings in serving you. Prepare us to be witnesses as we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.
I invite you Holy Spirit to fill me as well as the entire body of Christ with POWER to be able to fulfill the great commission. Help us to go to the highways and byways and invite them to come in to the marriage supper of the lamb before it is too late.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your son Jesus, and the sacrifice he made for us, we give all glory, honor and praise to the name above all names, our savior, healer, redeemer, King of kings, Lord of lords, JESUS.
We present our bodies as a living sacrifice to you in accordance with your will and purposes to be established in the earth in such a time as this, thy will be done in JESUS Holy Name. Thank you Father that you are the author and finisher of our faith, and that by your grace and mercy we will fulfill our destinies in who we are in Christ Jesus. We receive now the gifts, callings and ministries you have prepared and preordained, being justified, santified and glorified to be a holy habitation for your Holy Spirit in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen
