Luk 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"
Mar 11:22 And Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God.
Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);
Rom 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame."
Rom 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.
Rom 10:13 For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
And I would like to also add that drawing near to God is both spiritually and phycially in action, in that, when we determine in our hearts to enter into His presence through the study of His word, prayer and meditation, which increases our faith and trust in Him, this is the physically drawiing near to Him.
And the spiritual drawing is when we enter into His presence we totally surrender our will for HIs will, our desires for His desires... submitted and committed in all things and in direct fellowship with Him, blocking out all outside interferences, this is the spiritual drawing near to Him
Hebrews 7:24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come (draw near) to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Hebrews 10:19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
