The whole problem here is this one man Jesus knew he trusted in Riches just as it is stated. Yes giving of your riches as the lord leads you to will store up rewards in heaven, and Just as Jesus taught it will also increase you in this life one hundred fold, which simply means the maximum return. What Satan try's to use as lying against the truth concerning financial prosperity teaches Quite the opposite. 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. The problem as illustrated in this context is the condition of the heart, and the evil heart will do evil in, or with all things. Let us look at How Satan uses Scripture to twist and manipulate bible truth's. Mr 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. Mr 10:20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. Mr 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Mr 10:22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. Mr 10:23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! Mr 10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! Mr 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Mr 10:26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? The anger will flare up when you mention what Jesus taught in this context concerning giving. Giving to God never takes you backward always forward, from The beginning it has never changed the perfect will of God is for man to have dominion and to be fruitful and multiply. So what did Jesus teach in this sitting when you gave unto him you will store up treasures in heaven and now on the earth. Post Reply

In all out honesty, you would make more sense if you would have posted Scripture within context when making a point, brother. And put the complete chapter and verses while trying to expound on other ones as well. But it was a nice effort either way. Keep at it, brother. Practice makes perfect. May the over abundant riches of our Lord's mercy and love satisfy you with as it did the Father by the unselfish act of His Son, Lord Jesus, giving up His riches to become a lowly man and to die for you and me on the cross for the redemption and payment for our sin debt, brother. God has plenty people with Money. If you didnt have any Material Wealth, then what would you help another person in need with????? God wants people to serve him. Not just POOR people. Elisha you mean to tell me you can not find any place in scripture that the lord told his people to store any thing. The statement giving and expecting nothing in return is completely backwords. The law of sowing an reaping says so, the whole bible is based on what you say is not true. Love always expects a return, just follow love and his example. Elisha it is not of love to encourage in the ways of sin. Btw The way the reason The bilble tell's us not to give place to Satan is because we can give place to Satan. Denying The Law of Increase. elishabroadway View Profile History	The Voice Of Fear Concerning Money: Posted : 20 Feb, 2012 10:01 AM I never said he wants his people to be poor, but he does want us to be content, if we are content it doesnt matter if we are poor or not and I said the lord didnt say that by gicing now we would be storing up treasurs now I never said he didnt say store up anything further more my point has always been that the lord intentions was for us to give out of love not greed oh I am sorry what he said was LEND EXPECTING NOTHING BACK well if you lend expecting nothing back then isnt that really giving it away? THe LOrd Jesus alwasy taught love and selflesness not selfishness so if we are giving away so that we can just expect more here on earth then what is the point in the treasur ein heaven any time the lord says something about someone having something in this life his next statement is alwasy something like they have their reward I dont wnt my reward here Post Reply
