View Profile History	obey old testament commandments Posted : 25 Mar, 2012 04:36 PM Focus, I am just curious. Have you read all of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament)? There are some things that some would consider disturbing in today's society, like putting to death people that commit sexual offenses (adultery, homosexuality, bestiality). How about a penalty of death for blasphemy of the Name? Today that would be considered cursing or using the Lord's name in vain. Post Reply
View Profile History	obey old testament commandments Posted : 26 Mar, 2012 11:26 AM Yes!!!...I believe the Commandments of GOD are most important...Christ Jesus spoke of them...He kept them...why are we (Christians) any differant...the Law ( 10 commandments ) shows us are Sin...Christ Jesus Shows and offers Salvation from and out of it...Rightly dividing the Word...is dividing the OT & NT...can't have one without the other...and the OT is all about man/women and GOD~Christ Jesus~HolySpirit...xo Post Reply

I hope that the light and love of our Lord Jesus keeps on emulation to and through you all. As for my adherence to the Covenant of my God, I am under the Law of Christ (Gal. 6:2). In that Law He asks me to believe on His name and love the brethren (1 Jon 3:23-24). Does that explain my view to you? Post Reply

Mt 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Mt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mt 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. The man or women that truly walks in the light of this scripture does not act as though the truth's prior to the book of Act's are passed away. For when you walk in the light of this truth you will be rightly dividing the word of truth, as you purpose to hear and see the Word of God as all are able and then act accordingly you will prove you love the lord. The man that walks in is own light of interpretation of God can not walk in love. Post Reply
