Perhaps God is using the Difference in our Beliefs as a Contrast to Bring More Glory to Himself!
Romans 9, is not just about Election, it is also about the contrast of those that He shows mercy on, against the vessels of dishonor.
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Rom 9:22 What if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Rom 9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
As our sanctification becomes more complete, we become more Christlike, Christ the perfect man, fully glorified God.
The more that God restores His fallen and twisted creation to their original intended Un-fallen state, the more that God is Glorified.
99.9999999999999999 of all of creation, is pitch black, deep space is completely without sunlight.
Jesus, on the Mount of Transfiguration was Clothed in Light. God, is Light and in Him is No Darkness, also Clothes Himself in Light.
God is using the darkness to show the brightness of His Glory. The more that we and His whole Kosmos/Cosmos is restored or sanctified, the more like its original intended created purpose shines bright.
God's original intended Purposes Never Changes:
Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
When we get saved, as we go through Sanctification , the more we are restored to our original Un-fallen original intended purpose.
When we lead someone to Christ and disciple them, the more they shine like the bright stars in the firmament, and the more God is glorified.
Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

2 Peter 3:9 ~ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that [ any ] should perish, but that [ all ] should come to repentance...xo
John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
Jesus Prayed for the Apostles (Elect) and for (those) that shall Believe on Him through their word
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
*** thats rightHe didnt pray for the planetthe world...He prayed for His (Elect) Deciples...
And then He prayed
20 [[[ Neither pray I for these alone, but for [ them ] also which shall believe on me through their word; ]]]
*** Thank you Father  and Thank you Jesus for your Prayer:yay:...xo
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John17:1 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. 6 "I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.
The Elect are given by God, there is no human choice about it. God is sovereign and chooses whom he will out of his good pleasure. Not about any human action. It is all of God and his son Jesus Christ whom God sent to procure the elects redemption, and the Holy Spirit who draws the elect.
Why is it so hard for humans to take there place under Christ, not above him?

Context here will show you that the "us" being referred to are the believers...aka "the chosen". 2 Peter 3 makes plain when it is speaking of "you", "them", and "us". You have to differentiate. This verse does not say what most will claim it says. It never says God desires all people everywhere to be saved. Again...you have to know context...
>John 17:8-9, 20-23 (KJV)<
Your response here is a defense of reformed beliefs...not contrary to it..because it speaks to a specific people that Jesus was praying for, not all people..
In otherwords you would have some believe context changes a fact, yes it was said to believers, and the facts says the lord is not willing any should perish.
You prove again denial of scripture, your sole motive is to challenge those that believe the word of God, and so doing denying the word of God.

The us you refer to is G2248 ~ hemas ~ pronoun ~ Accusative case plural of ~ G1473 ~ ego ~ pronoun ~ I, me, my ~ A primary pronoun of the first person I (only expressed when emphatic)
"all" ~ pas ~ adjective ~ Including all the forms of declension ~
1) individually ~ each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything
2) collectively ~ some of all types
*** us and all to Repentance...there is no word "chosen" in this verse...in or out of "context"...xo
