Love of the Shadows In the Old Covenant

On the thread, "God's Covenant With the Jews Is Everlasting? His Covenant With
Israel Is Everlasting," a guy commented:
"Dispies LOVE the shadows. Others love living in the light of the SON.
Heb 10
10 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are comingnot the
realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same
sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who
draw near to worship
You Dispies can keep worrying about the old mt zion and Jerusalem.
We've come to the new Jerusalem."
Hebrews 12:
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the
heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of
angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose
names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all,
to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator
of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better
word than the blood of Abel. "
He is not using the King James Version. But he is seemingly awake on the
issue of the types and shadows pointing to Christ, and the substance
which is Christ and his light. Living in the shadows becomes living
in darkness, which is where most of the church is living today.
By "Dispies" he means followers of dispensationalism. But Christian Zionism is a more accurate name
for this theology which teaches that God now has two different and separate peoples, the Jews and the capital C "church," contrary to John 10: 16, which says there shall be one fold, not two, under Christ. "Dispies," or Christian Zionists, may try to do the dialectic dance to slip out of Johh 10: 16.
The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, looking for those whose
heart is perfect in him. The Remnant who earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered
unto the saints (Jude 1: 3) are inspired by the Lord's looking for others who contend for the faith. They also look for those who contend for the true Gospel.
II Chronicals 16:9:
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him."
Zecariah 4:
10 "For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Zec 4:11
Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
Zec 4:12
And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
Zec 4:13
And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Zec 4:14
Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth."
Revelation 12: 17: "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Revelation 11: 3-4: "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth."
The Two Witnesses is metaphoric for the Remnant of Revelation 12: 17 who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The Two Witnesses testify of Jesus Christ and his faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1: 3).
