Been trying to spread the truth that the standard is higher under grace than the law. It usually falls on deaf ears.

The clear reality is the word of faith will always be repulsive to the unrenewed mind, the fact is if it is not of the word of faith it is sin.

Thank God we have the privilege to take him at his word.

You like to mix words to make it sound like faith is repulsive to nonbelievers. In reality...we are talking about the evil word of faith movement that teaches the prosperity gospel and not the gospel of Christ. Sorry but God isn't here to make you rich. We've been through this over and over again and you've never given any scripture to support the word of faith movement.

The fact is not of those that believe the word of God, you have made it very clear Ryan you do not believe the word of God is true, for it is always subject your opinion.

The continual attacks on your behalf of all that believe, is your faith in demonstration, but it is not faith in the word of God.

To Say prosperity is evil is to say clearly one does not know Jesus.

We are told to deny ourselves, take up the cross and follow Jesus. If that is prosperity, then am a failure with material things. The toughest lesson for us is the self denial we are called to. Examine the rich young ruler who weeps when he realises that he has to sell everything and give it to the poor to get to heaven. That is wisdom there because upon critical analysis of profound possession of material wealth, the average man looses his/her focus on the cross and the narrow path and places more importance on the preservation and increase of the wealth in hand.

I would also refer you to the temptation of Jesus. Notice how he refuses the wealth that satan offers Him. From that we should draw lessons of a modest life in all areas. As long as we receive our daily bread we should be thankful. Any extras i.e luxuries and comforts should be enjoyed if present but not primarily pursued.

On the true grace of God, it is amazing, beyond logic and we should be thankful for it as it is what makes our faith distinct, alive. We,therefore, having been saved by that living grace through faith in Him (Jesus Christ) should do what He has commanded and endeavour to live Holy and righteous lives as we have been made conquerors through Him.

You will notice first and foremost I never defined prosperity, but what you responded is what the bible calls the traditions of men.

No one said anything about pursuing things.

The perfect will of god has never changed for mankind and it is for him to excel in all areas oF life, and anything less than that is not the Gospel.

Jesus did not say the rich young ruler had to sell everything to get to heaven, it is advisable to make such statement's.

*** Yup!!!...Had nothing to do about getting to Heaven because Heaven was right before him...

Jesus was making a pointing about the Rich young man...that the Rich young man put his wealth (Mamon) above GOD...as the Rich young man went away and did not Follow Christ Jesus...I wonder ifin he ever made it to Heaven ...xo
