I have been brainstorming myself and praying but need advice and input from likeminded mature christians. I've been a part of a business where more than 3/4th of the clients and workers are not christian and we are going through a great loss. Also the actual purpose of our business is to preach the gospel through providing job opportunities, education at a cheaper cost etc.yet we are unable to really do much and I suggested we could/should pray especially as a team before and after work each day for a breakthrough and for God to bless us to bless others ,but my bosses are worried it might stir up opposition s by non-christian fanatics. Provided we are a non-profit ,charitable, registered Institute with mission and ministry as our primary goal, how would you rather have us blessed and be a blessing when we can't even actually pray? Posted : 17 Jul, 2012 12:26 PM I have a question....Why would a business that is 3/4 NON-Christian be trying to run a business to Preach a Message they have no Clue about ???... IMHO...it appears to me its like a Monkey Business for Profit and Not Non-Profit...anywho...ifin the company is to worried about Offending Non-Christians with Prayer...maybe they are in the Wrong Business of Business...just sayin... I'll Pray for you and your company that they get on the same page of the book....xo Post Reply

We live in a country where there are only 7% christians and the town we are operating is only 2% christian s. So, I guess somehow,someone,somewhere had/has to start something to build a relationship with the society. Thats the whole point of it. Hope you can advise better now:) Post Reply

Yes, its a christian based org that started few years ago and we've had some people become christian already since it started with just a christian couple missionaries who were the founders. Thats how our org came into existence actually,but the founders have gone back to their country and they operate as Directors via email. And the people left responsible are few of their converts:) In a tough situation actually. Post Reply

My counsel to you would be for you to be the light, the intercessor, the one that prays for this ministry - even if you are the only one for now. Perhaps, you can find one or two others who will join you in prayer. If not, you be the one. God will honor that. Remember the Word of the Lord in James 5 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. I actually had and have been praying a lot and got other opportunities to move on,but my heart is stuck in my present ministry and I felt trapped at times with no friends and family to share my burden. So,it happened to cross my mind this afternoon while praying to try sharing it on here. I am glad I did:) Post Reply
