Thus saith the Lord ----
Who are you, oh man, that replies against ME? against MY sovereignty? against MY law? I am the LORD. My name is JEALOUS. I am the LORD and there is none else besides me. I will NOT give MY glory to another. Why do you provoke me to jealousy? Do you believe yourself to be stronger than I AM? Do you dare enter into a war against me?
Ex 20: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
Ex 34: 14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD , whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
Deut. 4:24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God

Ez. 38:19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel.
Ez. 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD ; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name.
Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
1 Cor. 10:22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
