Admin	The Heart? Posted : 13 Aug, 2012 09:11 AM The Heart in Scripture is usually referring to man himself, The Spirit. The death that occurred in the Garden was God no longer being one with man, The Glory (LIFE), the Spirit of God left man thus the death revealed in the Garden, man's spirit did not cease to exist or lose his ability to function as a spirit, his Spirit then came under dominion of Satan. Man was changed in heart or spirit after The Lord Jesus sat down at the right hand of the father. That old man then died and a new man was created in Christ Jesus, ALL NEW. It was only the spirit of man that is made new, the soul and body are still the same as before the NEW Man and they are to be subject to THE NEW MAN IN Christ Jesus. Prior to the new birth it was primarily thru the word of God that man inter acted with God. The word of God would illuminate the darkened heart of man when man would accept the truth of God's word.
