Daniel 9:27: "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."
Look specifically at "...and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."
What is the overspreading of abominations? An abomination is something done by, believed by and/or taught by those who claim to be the people of God which in the eyes of God is disgusting. In the Old Testament abomination is usually the Hebrew word toebah, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance Number 8441, which is said to mean "something disgusting, especially idolatry, from 8581, to loathe, detest."
Abominations are forms of behavior which God detests that are carried out by those who claim to be God's people. An abomination could be idolatry, a worshiping of idols, or images. Many Christians worship the images or appearances of their Christian celebrities. We live in an image culture which pays much attention to surface appearances, which is of the flesh.
But the abomination of desolation is also false doctrines inspired by the two forces under Satan, the spirit of anti-Christ (I John 4: 3) and the false prophet (Revelation 13: 11-18) a metaphor representing many false prophets (Matthew 24: 11, II Peter 2: 1, I John 4: 1). The spirit of anti-Christ denies the complete work of Christ and his bringing of light and life in the Spirit, so that the spirit of anti-Christ is Death. The false prophets teach another Gospel (Galatians 1: 8-9), and following another Gospel, not that delivered by the Apostles, causes one to be in a position in his doctrines which makes one unknown by Christ (Luke 13: 25-27). The two forces of Satan are also the Serpents (Matthew 23: 33) and Scorpions (Ezekiel 2: 3-6, Revelation 9: 2-3).
Matthew 23:38: "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate."
Because of the overspreading of the abominations, which are now false doctrines, the house is left unto you desolate.
Whose house is left desolate? Matthew 23: 37-38 says "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate."
Jerusalem represents All Physical Israel. So the house of all Israel is left desolate because of abominations. We can generalize from Matthew 23: 37-38 and say that the house of those who in our timeline promote All Physical Israel as being the chosen people is to be left to them desolate.
Isaiah 28:22: "Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth."
Could consumation in Isaiah 28: 22 and consummation in Daniel 9: 27 refer to the same thing? Consumation in Daniel 9: 27 and consummption in Isaiah 28: 22 are both from the Hebrew word.

From 3615; "a completion; adverbially completely; also destruction: - altogether, (be, utterly) consume (-d), consummation (-ption), was determined, (full, utter) end, riddance."
Christ left the house of physical Israel desolate. In Daniel 9: 27, the abominations, or false doctrines, cause physical Israel in the timeline up to the Cross to become desolate, and the consummation or end will be poured upon the desolate.
"Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." I Corinthians 10: 11
Following I Corinthians 10: 11 we can apply Daniel 9: 27, Isaiah 28: 22 and Matthew 37-38 to our own timeline. Those who preach false doctrines will have their house left desolate, which means they are rejected by the Lord as his people.
And Christ in Luke 10: 19 promises he will give "you," meaning some at a point in time, "power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing by any means shall hurt you."
Daniel 9: 27 mentions that "he," the Messiah..."shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease."
"For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

"Let us go therefore unto him without the camp." "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent......And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12: 14, 17. The Remnant has obeyed the call of Revelation 18: 4 and has come out of her, and gone into the wilderness, outside the camp.

This week was 0-70 A.D. In the midst of the week (33 A.D), Christ died on the cross which caused the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. The war between Rome and the Jews ( 66-70 A.D.) is that which is poured out upon the desolate until finally the physical temple in Jerusalem (the abomination of desolation) was utterly destroyed (70 A.D.)

He had given them that power right there and then Brother. It was not looking to some future point. Look at vs. 17. They already had the power Brother: "And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name."

Heads are different from horns. Horns represent the power of the head. Notice the beast has two horns and NOT to heads. Your depiction of the TWO HEADS of the beast being Christianity and Judiasm is not an accurate one since this beast does not have two heads. Your fantasy does not comport. Go back and visit it again. Here is another clue to help you.... He was like a lamb but SPAKE as a dragon.
Further, as you will notice Natzi, the power had already been given them to tread on serpents and scorpions. Since only Judiasm would have been applicable here, the idea that Scorpions refers to "Christianity" does NOT comport either since they would have to have been treading on something that didn't exist.
Go and learn what the Bible teaches before you launch into any more tirades on these forums.
