The Leaven of the Pharisees - As a Mixiing of Judaism With the Christian Gospel

Talmudic Judaism as a separate belief system from Christianity does not leaven or diminish Christianity. When Christians support the religion of the Pharisees, or Talmudic Judaism, in subtle ways, such as the starting postulate of Christian Zionism, that God now has two peoples, All Physical Israel and the Church, that is a small introduction of the leaven of the Pharisees. The leaven of the Pharisees is seen in Acts 15: 1, 5, "And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.......... But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses."

Over decades after the acceptance in evangelical circles of the doctrine that God now has two peoples, All Physical Israel, and the Church, then it was possible for the Hebrew Roots, Sacred Name Theology and Messianic Judaism movements to gain a beginning foothold.

Before Christian Zionism became popular in the protestant denominations, these movements would have had no influence among evangelical Christians. These movements listed do advocate some observance of the ceremonial law as being important, and the implication is that if it is important to observe them, then they should be observed for one to be saved. But in the dialectic process, the insistence that ceremonial laws must be observed in order to be saved, as the Christianized Pharisees taught in Acts 15 was avoided because Christians would reject it. Christians had first to accept that observation of the ceremonial laws was a good thing in going back to the Hebrew Roots. Then, they might be taught that observation of the ceremonial laws of Torah was necessary for salvation.

However, most Christians would still not accept the specific teaching that they most observe some of the ceremonial laws to be saved. But they might be moved farther away from the Gospel taught by the apostles in this dialectic process which can begin once the Christians accept the idea that a way toward "reformation" now is to accept the Hebrew Roots concept, that Christianity grew from its Hebrew Roots and the falling away from the faith is due to its failure to observe that origin in the way that the Hebrew Roots, Sacred Name Theology and Messianic Judaism teach.

Why would Christians follow a belief system brought into Christianity, which is mired in the physical, even though God used it to deliver his word to the world? The Old Covenant system taught that entry into physical Israel was by way of genetics, from Abraham, that the males must be circumcised to mark their identity in Israel, and there was a physical temple building at the center of their worship. After the transformation of physical Israel into the spiritual house of I Peter 2: 5-9 entry into Israel reborn in Christ was by faith and by having his mind in us. Physical circumcision was abolished, replaced by what Paul called circumcision of the heart. And the believers themselves became the temple of God.

Without that transformation of physical Israel into a spiritual house there can be no remission of sin by the blood of Christ. There can be no being born again, no spiritual renewing of our minds in Christ, no becoming a new creature, no indwelling by the Holy Spirit, no joy in working with scripture, and no salvation. There is no salvation in Talmudic Judaism, which comes out of the religion of the Pharisees. After the transformation of Israel everyone must be born again in Christ in order to have these spiritual gifts.

As I see it, there is only on error to your analysis. You are using the Christian Church to explain a fulfillment of what.? The end never and proclaim truth over the beginning when the beginning is profoundly necessary to explain the fulfillment.

Our G-d always used the natural to explain His creation and His way of life or Torah. Without understanding the intent of the Torah and its application to the New Covenant one must apply common knowledge to explain that which they did not understand or seems unusual to them. So perverted are the understandings of the celebrations in the New Covenant that most do not understand their intent and origins...ie Pentecost/Shavuot or the Cup of communion as the church call it, or the last supper/Feast of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Feast of First Fruits. Those appointed times of G-d, although fulfilled in the Messiah were never to be removed as they were the appointed times of G-d. Moreover, christmas is not the Messiah's birthday nor easter his resurrection day. Clearly we read this in the scriptures for our understanding not to be replaced with pagan holidays.

As a scholar who has accumulated knowledge you must know that nothing in the First Covenant is done away with. It is used and an explanation, a revelation, or a way of life to help us understand His ways

So before we slash Judaism, the Talmud, or Messianic Congregations let us learn from their restoration life. Purge the Church birth from rebellion and see the truth in the complete word of G-d.

Since G-d Himself proclaimed that the Jewish people were the people through whom He would reveal Himself....it might do us well to consult them on many things. Our arrogance in the church only reveals our ignorance. Roman 11:11 and following describes the beginning that arrogance among the Gentiles.

Shalom,
