2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

I believe in recognizing that they are lost and misled may be what the Lord is reaching for.

Who made you believe in Jesus?

I guess the Holy Spirit is the one and only minister to the souls of men as pertains to matters of God (christian faith). He directs,leads,warns etc. I tend to believe that He even directs in matters of sharing the word ie if we care to listen to His voice. There is always someone He wants you or anyone else to reach, there is always a target.

Many hear but don't listen, most don't believe while others take things lightly. Human tactics in preaching the gospel end up producing hundreds of converts who fall away completely just months after their conversion.

Who would understand? who would believe if not by the Holy Spirit's enabling? How can flesh understand matters spiritual?

Sorry if i diverged.

I wasnt able to watch the youtube...takes to long to load...however...I believe its always best to read the intire chapter instead of one verse takin out of context to make a point of...satan and his gospel...Ima not sure ifin this OP is about satans gospel or Pauls gospel being satanic or ifin a person doesnt believe a certain doctrine they are lost...<><...xo

2 Corinthians 4 (KJV)

1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

In your opinion Jude, what did you change or what was made different by posting the context? I respect that you think the verse was taken out of context, but you didn't let us know what you believe it to mean in context. Please don't do your usual, "The word speaks for itself". Tell us what you think the word is speaking.

Ok DonnaIm sorryplease forgive me for needing clarification as to what is satans gospel since that is the title of the ThreadI truly want to watch the YouTube so I may better understand the point you are trying to make here

GUD shared ~ Please don't do your usual, "The word speaks for itself". Tell us what you think the word is speaking.

*** 1st things 1stThe WORD does speak for its selfits very simple to read and understandeven a child can understand itjust wanted to clarify that

*** OKso2 Corinthians 4 is about the Mission and Determination and Courageand a person wont get all that out of one verse taken out of contextRight ???.

1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

*** This ministry of the New Testament is about the freedom from bondage to the lawas mentioned in the previous chapterand a person wouldnt know that unless they read the previous chapterRight ???

2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

*** Renounced"We have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways; we refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God."Quoting the RSVpurty straight forward

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

*** HidThat is[ hid to them that are lost ] as described in the next verse and thats another reason why taking a verse out of context isnt a real good ideait loses the flow of what is being conveyedwouldnt you agree ???

4 [[[ In whom [ the god of this world ] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. ]]]

*** SoI will do my best here to write as clear as possibleso it may be understoodA Believer in Christ Jesus reading this verse Understands that satan the god of this worldblinds the minds of those that [[[ Believe Not ]]]the question to ask is Why ???Because he doesnt want Anyone any Soul to be Reconciled to GOD through Christ Jesus nor to Believe Christ Jesus is who He says He is nor to Believe His Gospel

Hope this helps some folks here<><xo

Again Jude, I will ask again what you believe you changed by adding the context. Posting a verse without context is not the same as taking a verse out of context.
