Some Views On Revelation 9, the Trumpet Judgments
Revelation 9:19 "For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt."
The serpents (Matthew 23: 33) speak lies with their mouths - false doctrines - and they try to undermine faith in scripture, especially scripture that contradicts their theology. And they sting with their tails, to kill the third part of men, unlike the locust-scorpions (Revelation 9: 3, Joel 1: 4, 6-7, 12, and 2: 1-3, Ezekiel 2: 3-6) who torment those who do not agree with their false doctrines.
Revelation 9: 14-18: "Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
17. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths."
The third part of men being killed by these fallen angels refers to the third part of men in the sense that man is a three-part being, created in the image of God. The third part "killed" means that the spiritual part of many men is to be so diminished in the very end times - the tribulation - that it is referred to here as being killed.
I was in a Facebook discussion recently with a group including a guy who does not like criticism of the giant pharmaceutical corporations and the medical establishment on issues such as the side effects of drugs and their limited effectiveness compared to some nutrients and food supplements, and the harmful effects of vaccinations. He did not seem to accept that Revelation 18: 23 and Strong's definition of sorceries as pharmakeia, pharmacy, medication, drugs, poision, is said to deceive the people, the ethnos, translated as nations in the King James..
Revelation 9: 21 "Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts."
Again, the Greek word translated as sorceries is pharmakeia, and there it is in the form of pharmakeion. Strong's does say that pharmakeia, No 5331, in the sense of being medication, or pharmacy, by extension can mean magic or sorcery. A closely related Greek word, 5332, pharmakeus, means "drug, a spell giving potion, a druggist, pharmacist, or poisoner, by extension, a magician, sorcerer." A doctor who pushes prescription drugs would be a pharmakeus.
In the end time many will not repent of their fornications, their thefts and their drug use, both legal prescription drugs and illegal drugs. For some who were overly vaccinated while very young, brain damage results, according to studies.
Russell Blaylock, MD is one who has spoken out in writing and in videos on this research. And one effect of brain damage from too many vaccinations while young is alcohol and drug addiction - and addiction to some drugs like meth-amphetamines can lead to changes in the brain which cause behavior characteristic of psychopaths - people who have no conscience, engage in persistent telling of lies, want to get the best of others, and can be violent. All of this will contribute to the spiritual darkness and antisocial behavior during the tribulation of Matthew 24: 29-30.
