Mat 7:13-14

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

I study with a friend and we came to this chapter and versesI asked what they meantHe replied that there are 2 gates that lead into the city of Jerusalemthey are side by side in one wallthe larger gate is the entrance for the Feasts of the Lord which masses of people travel throughthe smaller gate is for the SabbathWhen Jesus speaks of the 2 gates the Larger one is for the Masses of People that go through the same routine over and over againnever learningnever changingnever Resting in Him and what he has done for usthe Smaller gate is the Sabbath Gatewhich means Rest in Hebrewand Yahshua means that few find itRest that isfor we find out Rest in HimI found his reasoning quit interestingHe is a Messianic Jew...So Im curious what some of you might think of this ???

Every individual is born on the path to destruction. It is our bent toward self determination that causes us to reject God or make a God in our image that we can controll. God doesnt send individuals to hell they choose hell by rejecting God.

Did you ever hear the phrase that individual is self destructive? Well that is the destruction they are heading toward through their rebellion.

The path to life is the path to Jesus because Jesus is the way the truth and the life. This path that we find is in a intimate relationship with the path ( Jesus) We find it because God extends His love toward us and we respond to the Love of God.

You see the path and the gate is narrow because it is in relationship that we find life. Relationship with the God of the universe the God of creation. It starts by faith in trusting we are unable to enter Gods presence due to our own lack of rightousness.

Their are individuals who accept this but fail to find the real blessing in life. That is the intimate close relationship with God himself. They choose to keep God at arms reach and only seek to benifit from his salvation.

These individuals are deluded because heaven is heaven for the sole reason that God dwells there. Why would one want to be in heaven and not have a close intimate relationship with the one who resides there?

God doesnt send individuals to hell they are on the path to hell right now and God will simply give them the desires of their hearts. One the day of judgement God WILL reveal the true motives and desires of all of our hearts and then we will experience the result of such revelation, plain and simple.
