Bahira Omar One missionary says: About 8 years ago God brought someone into my life that was a missionary and used them to open up the world of missions

Bahira Omar I learned about all the many opportunities around the world for every experience and background someone has.

Bahira Omar So I developed strong desire to be used by God in that way. Then they gave me a book, a biography of a missionary to china,

Bahira Omar and God used that book to fuel my desire and propel me into preparing for missions, to learn all I can.

Bahira Omar At another level I want to live a life that has eternal value.

Bahira Omar I recognize that anyone can do that if they are living a life of obedience for the glory of God, but I just long to serve God full time,

Bahira Omar to live every minute for the purpose of the Gospel. At another level I desire to contribute where the greatest need is.

Bahira Omar Most don't want to be missionary because the sacrifice is too great.

Bahira Omar I once read a book written in the 1840's in central united states when the country was expanding out west.

Bahira Omar It is a diary of the wife of a missionary. It was a hard life for them and for her husband, he had to travel on horse so many miles,

Bahira Omar and be gone many days at a time. Later she learned that he had passed up a much easier mission work in a large city,

Bahira Omar and took the much more difficult one. She asked him why didn't you take the easy job in the city, you be home every night,

Bahira Omar not exhausted every time you come home?? He said because you can easily find 10 people to fill that position,

Bahira Omar but you would be lucky to find even one person to do this difficult ministry reaching people in the rural area.

Bahira Omar She said that if the average Christian had 1/10th the self sacrifice of her husband, the world would be a different place.

Bahira Omar I was impressed by that, and I long to have the same desire, to go where most don't want to go because it is too hard.

Bahira Omar Another reason is because I live in the most prosperous nation in the history of the world and life is too easy here.

Bahira Omar It is very hard for Christians here to grow spiritually because it is very comfortable life here and...

Bahira Omar and we don't have to trust or depend on God for anything.

Bahira Omar Perhaps that is not a pure motive but I long to be in a position of learning to depend on God and long to be under the influence of ...

Bahira Omar and long to be under the influence of godly people who are willing to sacrifice anything for the kingdom of God.

Bahira Omar Paul said "follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ". Sadly, there are very few here that I want to follow the example of.

Bahira Omar So you can see there are many reasons, but ultimately I just want to do what God wants, and...

Bahira Omar We offer them salvation LOVING them. If there is no love for nations/people then it is difficult to be productive in service!

Bahira Omar My goal to spread the Gospel is my LOVE for Arab nation.

Bahira Omar I recall an American man....He came to the American Embassy in Saudi Arabia and talked there about God.

Bahira Omar When he went away from the Embassy, Saudis arrested him for proselytizing on streets...Most probable he was beheaded.

Bahira Omar I didn't find any info about him....But in the closed country of DEAD people he BROUGHT salvation! Praise the Lord for him!

Bahira Omar God called us to bring salvation for people! He COMMANDED us: Matthew 28: 18-20. If not you? Who? If not now? When?

Bahira Omar People would have to say they are more worried about a temporary rejection in this world than an eternity in hell.

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Bahira Omar From Suffering to Glory



18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.



26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.



28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
