One of the great commands of God - tsitsit, the fringes Jews wear on the corner of our garments.

Tsitsit, the fringes is a perennial reminder of our identity as Jews and our obligation to keep the Torahs commands. But why?

Fringes (tzitziyot) are attached to the prayer shawl called as tallit. The tallit itself is commonly referred to as tzitzit.

According to the Torah, the purpose of wearing tzitzit is to remind Jews of their religious obligations.

In addition, it serves as a reminder of the Exodus from Egypt (Numbers 15:40).

God spoke to Moses and instructed Jews to make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments for all generations.

Let them attach a cord of blue to the fringe at each corner. That shall be your fringe.

look at it and recall all the commandments of the Lord and observe them, so that you do not stray after your heart and eyes...

so that you do not stray after your heart and eyes which in the past have led you to immorality.

You will thus remember and keep all my commandments and be holy to your God.

God has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us to wrap ourselves in a fringed garment.

There are things we can say to God that we can say to no one else. He knows our thoughts, hopes, fears, better than we know them ourselves.

We speak to God in the privacy of the soul, and He listens. We speak to God in prayers. Prayers is a TALK to God! Communication with Him!

Prayers are NOT a ritual as we see it in Islam! We do not pray to Mary or saints or bowing down before the meteorite Kaaba cuz it is a sin!

Because it is a sin of idol worship! Idol worshipers do NOT inherit the Kingdom of God!

But prayer is internal conversation the opening of our heart to the God of Israel who brought us into existence in love.

Prayer is as essential to knowing God and growing spiritually as breathing. Prayer is communicating with and hearing from God.

True prayer is what happens when our will is aligned with the will of God, and we pray accordingly.

Prayer is our connection to heaven and heaven's connection to usthat is why you should always keep the lines open!

There is a sin of of prayerlessness! Why? Jesus said, "Men always ought to pray and not lose heart" (Luke 18:1).

And Paul wrote that we are to "pray without ceasing. .for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1 Thessalonians 5:1718)

Maybe you pray regularly, but your prayers never seem to get a response. It seems that all you receive is an icy silence. But why?

We can be assured that we pray to the God of ISRAEL who does not turn a deaf ear to our prayers. Instead, He desires to communicate with us

But our sins separate us from God if we live in sins! WHY?

As we come to God in prayer,we should make sure that we "cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness

Perfecting HOLINESS in the fear of God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (2 Corinthians 7:1).

Otherwise, our prayers will not be effective. "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear" (Psalm 66:18).

The object of prayer is not to bend the will of God to mine, but to get my will in line with His.

True praying is not overcoming God's reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness.

ABIDE in CHRIST! Jesus gave this promise concerning how to have answered prayer: "If you abide in Me and My words abide in you...

"If you abide in Me (the SON of GOD) and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you" (John 15:7).

To abide means to "maintain a living and continual fellowship with Jesus Christ."

You become like two friends with GOD who are completely comfortable in each other's presence.

As Jesus points out in His MODEL prayer in Matthew 6:913.

We should always begin our prayers by recognizing that we are addressing the Almighty God who is to be reverenced, worshipped and obeyed.

Our prayers cannot be divorced from our lifestyles. They flow out of a close walk with God.

If your life is not pleasing to God, your prayer life will be practically non-existent. Obedience to God plays a part in answered prayers.

Prayer is the way God helps us to overcome our anxiety and worry. Prayer is God's appointed way of obtaining things.

Prayer is one of the ways we make ourselves ready for the return of Jesus Christ. (Luke 21:3436).
